IF it had a cooldown before finding another trap it could work out. An example of such a passive would be

Passive Unique Minesweeper: automatically detects and shows a trap for 10 seconds and makes you able to destroy by stepping on it during which you take no damage, CC or debuffs from doing so) then goes on cooldown for 45 seconds before it can be used again show another trap.

While I hate teemo and Nidalee making them have really hard counters to something they are known for would be a problem. I am fine with an item being a realistic light counter to them though and this would make a few teemo shrooms more manageable overall but not in a place that is super loaded with them.

It is not for summoner's rift, it is on other maps already however

the hex-technical target acquisition system would be also kind of OP because if someone is taking baron and you attack their adc baron can do tons of damage to them i thing it should be not baron as well.
