When will Poppy be nerfed?

Just played a game of ranked, Plat 5 with a match MMR of 1800. I played Renekton and I was against Poppy.

Firstly, is Riot going to address Poppys absurd kit damage? Not only can she out-trade me early (whilst building full tank and outscaling me) but her end game damage was only 1k below my teams fed Kai Sai.

You have a champ who builds full tank, whose kit is simply AF with 0 skill shots, deals shit tons of damage, can block dashes/has mobility AND can apply CC.

If Riot nerfed Poppys early game she would at least have a harder time getting to her 'invincible mid-late game state', but currently she's so dominate in lane that it's free.

If Riot can explain how a Full Tank Poppy is SUPPOSED to deal as much as a 11/1/10 Kai Sai, Ill understand. But the fact a full tank can deal as much as the strongest hyper carry in the game SEEMS a bit wrong, like that can't seriously be intended right?

Poppy is good into a lot of fighters and skirmishers. She's BAD into juggernauts and some tanks (Malphite/Maokai are decent examples), as well as ranged shit like Viktor or Vayne or Quinn or some mess.

You're a fighter.

Well, that's just how that goes. She's in a position where she could stand to take a slight tuning down, but outside of that, you're just playing into someone that can handle Renekton's early game. You need to remember that warden champs like Poppy, Nunu, Shen, and Galio...these champs tend to have pretty good early game damage to make up for their lack of late game engage.

just remember her passive is a free ass ranged true magic damage and operates more like poke, plus her q is spammable poke so that theoretically speaking is skewing the numbers.

Ill check tho cause this is kinda interesting

It's true. Poppy is nearly always at the top for both total damage dealt and taken in games, doesn't seem to matter who is playing her (gods help you if it's a main).

She has basically no risk to her playstyle. A champ this simple kit-wise should not be able to solo carry games so easily. Either her damage or her defense needs to be toned down.

when Poppy actually deserves a nerf she will be nerfed. Sorry but you losing to a Poppy once is not enough to warrant any champion needing a nerf

Don't you dare touch poppy until irelia either gets nerf hammered or fairly balanced there needs to be some counter to that shit.

If you were playing renekton im guessing she was keeping her W for your second dash as you only have so long to recast it and that's how you typically retreat/end trades, try to just walk away from trades if you know she still has it available. You don't want her to get that second Q damage proc off from the W stun, you probably already know to avoid walls but I'll just mention it anyway. Poppy needs to get both 8%hp Q proc to win a trade, avoiding wall's and w knockdown and you should win. Early armour also helps against her Q damage and doesn't renekton get dreadnought as a latter game armour item so that armour wouldn't go to waste. Her Q damage doesn't scale very well into the game as you will get more armour from levelling as opposed to thanks who have magic damage.
