So Akali shroud cancels abilities? The video CLEARLY shows my ult went off, completely. Yet it doesn't go off cooldown and the damage doesn't apply.
can still be hit in her ult if you target her BEFORE she ults, so why would Akali shroud cancel my abilities if I target her before she shrouds? Im seriously confused.
Same thing happens with brush and other forms of lost vision on darius; his ults channel time is during the start of his animation, so it looks really odd if you lose vision mid ult, or if someone pops zonyas etc.
But essentially, you lost vision, thus ult didnt complete.
Same thing happened in a game I was in the other day. We assumed we had just seen it wrong and that he hadn't actually ulted - But clearly you did.
Also had it happen with Garen trying to R Akali.
Reasons Akali W is unbalanceable.

Xaya’s Ult makes her untargetable. So if you already targeted her, it goes through. League has different logic for invisibility than it does untargetable. Invisibility means you cannot be hit by targeted attacks. Now, if that is healthy for the game or not, I don’t know. But that’s what your seeing in the video.
Simply put
Untargetable=pre targeted hit, dodge AoE and not able to be targeted for the duration.
Invisibility=Immune to target damage, hit by AoE.
Invisibility works the same way with Vayne I believe. Your call if it’s healthy for the game.

I think her shroud makes her very stupid.
I think she disappears too fast.
I can't E her as Anivia because the animation cancels because she disappears too fast after using her q.
Stupid champ wins off of being unhittable.

You can do the same thing with Yi. Probably with LeBlanc and Shaco too but I don't play those characters.
I just dont get how you can be untargetable and still take damage while being invisible makes you untargetable. .
Same thing happens when I play Ryze and W or E someone that walks into a bush or when Akali shrouds. The cast animation goes off but since she shrouds it doesn't go through lmao
This happens to a lot of basic attacks as well. It's called 'breaking line of sight' if the target is no longer in view, basic attacks and abilities will cancel. Because both basic attacks and most abilities have a 'delay' in the form of 'attack delay' and 'channel' as brief as they are, the game requires you to full complete the delay before the action and damage calculation can occur.
