Getting to level 20 is hell

I made my first smurf just the other week, figured having a second account might be fun.

YOU CAN ONLY PLAY BLIND UNTIL LEVEL 20

Every game. . . . . EVERY! DAMN! GAME! You have players insta-locking champs/lanes, cause once their locked in, you have to adjust.

You have new players who don't know what they're doing, yet they are given 80 seconds to scramble, organize, and get along.

You have experienced players who do know what they're doing, yet they are given the opportunity to choose a lane prior, and enter an organized lobby.

WHY???????

Why disable Draft for new players when draft gives new players the scaffolding they need to make a team, why force them through 20 levels of: 'TOPTOTPTOPTOPT MIDMIDMIDMID JUN NO I CALLED IT FIRST YOU SUPPP NO I DONT HAVE THE CHAMPS CAN ONLY RIVEN/YAS ADC OR FEED WHAT ARE RUNES IS DARIUS SUPPORT?'

Compared to

'You have been placed top, who you wanna play?'

Ridiculous

EDIT - The purpose of this post is to bring to light how uninviting League is to new players. I've told my friend for years to just get to 'level 30' and it's fun, but ffs, I know what I'm doing and it's still extremely frustrating, I couldn't imagine trying to learn the game with all this shit happening.
