No it would not kill him if he was balanced for it but it would make there be limits to how much he can move around between minions before no longer having a wind wall open to him.
That is generally one of the biggest frustrations with him. He lacks any major periods where he is really vulnerable because of his actions.
EDIT: Did I mention he is Ionian? Yes this matters since only Ionians can use energy due to an unwritten rule.

well Xerath is one of the mages who is not harshly hindered by his win wall. But try playing Lux or the likes against Yasuo and you will be feeling helpless against a competent Yasuo.

If your complaint is that Yasuo counters champions he is designed to counter well, then you don't have an argument.

Actually the only one not blocked is her ult. If you try to send the shield or Lucent Singularity through wind wall they should disapear.
Her ult on the other hand effects the area instead of being a projectile.

The only ability Lux has that gets close to that is her ult, and when you add in the fact that you are going to have CDR and he isn't, your abilities are on a much lower cooldown then the wall. So what you do is you poke him down (he can't windwall everything), and when you get him low enough, you bait out the wall, then when your spell is up again (and his still needs half the cooldown), you burst him.
If that isn't enough, add in "call jungler for gank" before the bait out the wall step. Have them come from the side (from the back and Yas can dash through him), so that Yas is forced to deal with blocking either your damage and CC, or the junglers.

When then you don't use your wind wall before Lux throw anything, simple. Lux doesn't bait out his windwall, Yasuo baits out her QE. You try to poke him? He dashes to you immediately. I really want to know how you get him low without running out of mana as Lux before mid game.
Call the jungle? If I recall, Lux is much more vulnerable to ganks. It is not really a valid argument if you need a jungle to babysit you till the end of laning phase.
EDIT: Oh and the fact that you said "only her Q can be windwalled" proved that you knew nothing about either Lux or Yasuo at all.

He can also block lux e before it lands.

She's forced to AA under turret, and she has strict mana constraints Yasuo does not suffer from. A well played Yasuo will make that lane hell for Morgana, and he should end the lane with a CS and level advantage. Granted, it's hard for Yasuo to actually kill her, but he doesn't need to in order to win that lane.

I'm going to agree with you on all points except the Q. The only time it is easy to Q Yasuo is if he has already dashed to everything and can't dash and also has windwall down, is in your face point blank, or if you ult him first and wait for the stun before hitting with Q.

I play more lux then I ever play yasuo I only played yasuo often when he was released before braum now that shiv+warlord was nerfed he's balanced and easy to deal with as lux.

How do you even survive the level 2 combo from Yasuo as lux? You have about 21 base armor and yas will just cut you in half mane. The problem is that when you rely on skill-shots to hit someone and they have a dash with a .1s cd, you'll never hit them, unless you're one of those weird ass lux players who buy lich bane into tiamat or some other shit

You don't get hit by it, focus on farming to sustain your mana and slowly poke him down until he's dead or zoned off farm
The problem is lux players and alot of mages only try to farm champions, they don't focus on cs and slowly harass someone down instead nope just want to 100-0 someone from early

The DoT still pops his shield which is nice, but it's BS how effective his windwall is. Kassadin should have that kinda stuff as an antimage with a genuinely weak laning phase, AND mana issues.

Lee Sin is not a ninja, but a monk. Yas using energy makes as much sense as lee using it
