What if ignite drew turret aggro?
Like say you're getting dived and mark an adc. It'll switch focus for the duration of the ignite even if they re-enter turret range. Or upon initial placement. Thoughts?

Huh, so instead of relying on the stupid turret to attack who you want, you can rely on yourself. That would be interesting. It would make being ganked a little more livable. Though, early game ganks would be tougher to pull off.

Interesting, but what if 2 ignited people were in turret range at the same time?
It would help in bringing back ignite to the solo lanes, and institute it as the niche choice for winning your lane.
This way you don't get fucked over because you picked ignite solely to win early game, then got repeatedly dived with no TP to get back to lane.
It doesn't get rid of strategic picking of summoner spells, just changes it.
I'd rather have it be a different spell instead of buffing ignite

I'd like that idea, it should also work on exhaust for those who want to survive the ganks.

more powerful though because if you ignite her she would repel to remove tower agro.
I like the idea. It'd be useful to deter dives a little.
I'm not sure if the duration of ignite is short enough that drawing attention during the full spell would not be too strong. Keep in mind that it prevents a push on a turret if you can designate the ADC.
On a side note, I recommend changing the word "drew" in the thread name. It sounds like the caster gets shot, not the spell's target.

personally Turrets should auto fire at any enemy champion that has hit another champion in past 5 seconds. (priority given to who has most recently hit them to avoid tanks just absorbing shots)
wish turrets were mroe dangerous instead of a warning flag for a few minuets :(

I think that's actually a pretty good idea. Snowball suggested putting that into Clairvoyance, and that's not too bad either.
It'd help against being dived in the first 5 minutes of every game. Turrets take nearly 3 seconds just to target the enemy champion attacking you, and do less than papercut damage.
Why not just change how fast turrets lock on and start attacking, make it more instant instead of
Ping! ........ Pew...pew...
This would force people to never dive. Ignite damage + a tower shot + AA or skill = Diving person dies.
There is no fair risk reward here, the suggestion simply makes it so it's even more disadvantaged.

You: Yay I'm safe in lane and under tower.
[ 1 Month later ] Ignite becomes a "Must have" on all lanes, even support because anti-dive is better than 1.5-2s exhausts slow and ignite cancels their LS.
You: Laning is so boring, I trade and try to kill them and I can't finish the kill. All they have to do is flash/juke ignite , CC me and tower kills me. So fucking bullshit, no counter play.
GG I have to play Insta nuke champions to be able to kill them before they reach the tower.

How's about healing immediately drop turrets aggro? Would make diving more interesting.
We just need a lot of tools to mess with the turret.
