This game is 5 years old with no loading screen indicator

It's so easy to implement and would help a lot of people. Sitting there for 5 minutes then only restarting to find out you're late to the game. Thinking your teammates loaded in only to restart and find out it started after you did. Can we just pleaseeee have this put in the game, upvote this to get it noted. It's been a long time coming.

The game originally had loading indicators but Riot didn't want people with slower computers being made fun of so they removed it.

No, I'm not joking or lying

Once again something that Dota 2 has that is a nice little touch

You can actually chat during the loading screen and it shows the map in the background moving.

If Dota 2 and League were to combine and take the best of both it would basically be the perfect moba.

Loading screen indicator, this is one of the highest grossing esports there is and it doesn't have a replays still. Remember when spectator mode was the doorway to replays? Probably not because that's how long ago they said it.

Someone suggested we have a dancing poro indicator. I liked that idea a lot.

I was forced to do the I agree thing on EUW because another player never connected and I saw them stuck at 40% and I waited 5-10 minutes and I was with two friends that game and I had alt tabbed and messaged one if the game started and no reply and at 10 minutes I messaged the other and received a response that it started and

apparently the frist message did not go through so it was like 10 minutes in before I killed the game client process and reconnected

I am guessing the best you can do then is if you have to compoopers or one and the one you are using is fast enough to run virtual machines is to spectate your game with another account and if the spectator game loads at least you will be just 4 or so minutes late (because spectator delay + restarting load) at least unless you have a duo friend to message you (potentially outside of game)

They should add a dancing poro or something, as an indication of crashes and for fun as well ;)

Can someone explain it to me further? I thought we already see everyone loading % seperately.

Siglord7/25/2015, 5:20:25 PM1 votes

Well i see progress of everyone individually, god powers i guess

Much like every source of information related to League of Legends, you have to go to an outside source. Not sure if the game started yet? Go to LoLNexus. If it says the match has started, it started without you and you need to re-boot.

They removed ONLY latency indicator. The loading % was always there and is still there, maybe its not accurate and never was but they did not remove it.

honestly I'd be happy with something moving at all times on the loading screen to let me know the game didn't freeze on me :L
