Any Other Normal-Only Players Here?

I play normals exclusively these days, and I don't have to deal with the frustrations of ranked play. Well, I do have to deal with toxicity, but at least it's without the stress of ranked.

That and I can play whatever I find fun (and I sometimes do really well with those picks, too), such as Blitzcrank mid and jungle, Fiddlesticks support, and Veigar support, and people don't flame me as much as some might expect (even though I do get flamed at times for such picks).

Also, even many teammates who flame me for such picks calm down and change their minds when I do well with the picks, which they don't seem to expect from off-meta picks.

So, yeah... I really enjoy League and love it without playing ranked. I have absolutely nothing against those who play ranked, but it's not my cup of tea. Am I alone here?

pretty much since dq im ''normals only'' sometimes play a ranked game with one of my friends but most of em quit since dq got introduced

I've played 1 ranked game since 2012. Started with dominion, played primarily Howling Abyss, have been playing more Summoners Rift with the intro of champ masteries and hextech. I just wanted to avoid ruining others people's games because I don't trust myself to do decently - hence the normals. You get the occasional individual that wants you to be an expert in everything you play but generally people are agreeable.
