@Riot: Are There Any Plans to Rework or Nerf Blitzcrank?

I'm a HUGE Blitz fan; I'm not asking this question because I want him to be nerfed or reworked but because I'm actually afraid that he would be changed in a way that might make him less fun to play.

Per the title: Are there any plans to rework or nerf him?

Another question: Does anyone here think his ult's cooldown is too short given that it is an AoE spell with a silence (that is quite short, though) that also deals relatively high base damage for a support?

I really hope he doesn't get reworked or nerfed. Maybe he could be changed a little, but I love his core kit now.

We don't have any plans to change Blitz at the moment.

Any plans to revert the Morde ~~rework~~ identity removal? I really wanna know why a Juggernaut has to be babysat by a support for the first 15 minutes of every game. It's a bit of an oxymoron, don't you think?

The thing is: If Thresh manages to grab you,you can still escape most of the time(sure thresh can still pull himself towards you and use his E and ult,but thats about it):

If Blitz grabs you,you are pretty much doomed,you get knocked up and silenced,while most likely everyone out of blitzs team starts to beat you up.

So in the end Thresh has more stuff he can do,but Blitzs pull is still more deadly.

Really? Despite him being one of the most frustrating champions to play against in the entire game? His 20-25% pick rate in ranked play? Or his above average win rate all aren't indicators he needs to be looked at? Let me guess, you don't see Thresh as a problem either?

Meanwhile Janna has been nerfed like 20+ times within the last 3 seasons.

you know blitz is sort of like a juggernaut too why dont you just make his ult do true damage when the enemy is below half health and also reset when he gets a kill. it would make him a real threat that has to be seriously dealt with. it would maybe be a little bit strong but that would fit your long term goal for the character if you dont make the effort to get away from him when you are below half health he may just reset and win the whole team fight!

From the way I see it we're more likely to see mechanical changes to Blitz starting from the art or story departments rather than the balance department. Blitz has his own little niche so he's not exactly in desperate need of anything balance wise, so unless a large change is made elsewhere in Riot Meddler's post here is definitely the law of the matter for the foreseeable future.
