Is It Just Me, or Are New Champions Becoming Increasingly Toxic?

This is not about X or Y champion's being OP; I don't think a champion has to be OP to be toxic and unfun to play against. Yorick and Teemo are a case in point. Let's look at some of the champions Riot has released since 2013:

Jinx Azir TahmKench Kalista Illaoi

And do I even need to mention Yasuo?

Constant obnoxious dashes for Kalista and Yasuo, two health bars and a Get Out of Free Jail card for allies for TahmKench, and an annoying as hell laning experience against Azir. Let's not forget that stupid tentacle mini-game you have to go through when Illaoi manages to get hold of you. Jinx is all around annoying, albeit arguably to a lesser extent than the other four.

At this point I ban Yasuo and Tahm almost every chance I get not because of their being "OP" but because I just don't have fun when I play against them. The only satisfaction I get from having them against me is killing them and watching them crash and burn.

Seriously, is it just me, or are a lot of new champions becoming increasingly toxic and obnoxious to play against?

Work around it or stop playing. That simple.

Yeah, I agree that the champs you mention outside of jinx are more of a challenge to contend with and seem to have next to no real windows to really feel like you got an advantage over them that will matter. This in turn has made me not feel like playing league much anymore.

It doesn't feel rewarding to have to play against Illaoi and TahmKench because there never seems to be real windows of weakness on them where you can take advantage of their mistakes and get a lead off them. They mess up but seem to be able to break even in a fight when they do mess up and when you mess up they are able to massively capitalize on it with ease.

Same goes for Yasuo when playing skill shot dependent ranged champs and Azir who zones and controls everything in lane. Once someone is able to play them well it completely nullifies a fair number of options.

I kind a wish that all of the champs besides jinx that you mention would be disabled for a month and see if the game feels more enjoyable without them becasue there is always at least one of them in every game it seems.

It is alright to lose but when it feels like there is nothing you can do to have won the game just kinda dies.

I'll admit that those champions are toxic and unfun to play against. Though I wouldn't say that every champion that was released recently is toxic. I'd say these champions aren't toxic (imo of course...) Bard Ekko Kindred.

Ekko was very unfun to play against on release due to his numbers being insanely high, though now I consider him balanced. As for Bard and Kindred, they both really have the same feel with their ultimates...I never really hate facing them or consider facing them making the match unfun, but both of them can be annoying to be on their team when they mis-use their ultimates and save enemies.

Also if we count recent rework champions as well, I'd say Poppy Sion were pretty good and not toxic. Though I do some what feel that Poppy is currently a little under powered atm, but if she really is she'll get buff eventually.
