Its really just comical at this point...

Every game it seems now. Im casually in my lane, playing safe, and farming along. No deaths, and doing some damage. Then i look over, and the mid and adc are fed. It really isnt me anymore.

For example, last game. Im 0/0/0, 89 CS at minute 12. Im in a bad lane matchup, but im playing passive and doing my best to poke as much as i can. I go back, and hit tab, and what do you know, their mid is 8/2/4 their adc is 11/4/1.......11 KILLS IN 12 MINUTES. There is no way of combating this amount of feeding. Every ranked game I play, my team seems to do this. I play a decent game, and dont feed, dont die. I do what im supposed, ward and ping when it is needed, and I get teamed up with people that just feed.

My main point to this post is to essentially fix the LP system to punish/reward INDIVIDUAL play. Why should I be at the mercy of 4 random people that may or may not feed, and even if I do everything right, I get punshed for it. And also, if Im having a bad game, I dont want them punished for my mistakes. Why does the guy who is 0/13/4 get an LP reward because his team can carry him, but when I (and this is an actual score), go 24/12/32 with Evelynn and a S- at the end of the game lose LP, because of bad play.

I understand people will have bad games, and some people get a kick out of trolling for the hell of it, but it should be based upon how well you do individually in a team based game that is essentially up to chance.

The problem with rewarding individual play, is that their is many factors to the game that could have caused somebody to do bad but look good, and do good but look bad. 0/5/11 support could have placed a ton of wards, but would have a terrible score therefore not getting rewarded much. 12/6/4 Carry could look good, but have terrible cs and split pushed the whole time. Individual effort is not always the way to go on these things.

It's a team game last i checked, if there was anything you could have done you should have. Thinking "i am not feeding" is a bad mentality in a team based game.

Yeah you could get objectives with Tp. Too bad they nerfed it so you can't get to turrets with half CD anymore, and you have to use it much more sparingly. At best you can roam mid, but with all the mobility creep it is somewhat difficult, ESPECIALLY if you are in a bad matchup.

Turrets getting even easier to kill doesn't help either. While you help other lanes, your turret will fall. You can't use the half CD Tp to compensate. And you might not even be able to pull a gank bot if they are unable to ward, or are already feeding too hard before you can even hit lv 6.

My issue is even if i am 5/0/0 at 10 minutes, going Bot to help against the 11/0/5 Vayne and 5/0/11 Brand isn't going to help us win... I'm not saying that because i am a pessimist, i am saying that because in my experience when i go down to help, chances are i am not going to get any help from the two feeders and will end up giving a kill maybe 2-3 since they will likely flash in after i am dead and die as well... This is what always happens, I go to help and they use me to escape... Same when i am losing lane and need help, they write me off like i am garbage and just leave me to die... So i agree there is always something you can do, but not always to win, sometimes you can't do anything about your teammates.

This 100%

It really doesnt help you win to go and try to stop a 11/05 Vayne. If she gets that fed in lane then a

A: Their botlane is simply better then yours B: Are you seriously going to gank Botlane 20 times 10 minutes to help them get even, knowing their botlane is better and will eventually pull ahead again anyway . .

Some people will tell you to help your botlane and carry this or carry that but the reality is that when you get eggplants like that on your roster youre game is finished before champ select was done.

It's solo queue in a nutshell. You have to hope you are in the right team.

BUT, there is a way to stop this. Play expecting them to feed. Ergo, get pressure on your laner, drop tower, and use TP to TP down to botlane when they're engaging (I'm assuming you're top). Look at what Pro's do. They know who the champions are, so they can expect engages, so what they do is avoid having to use TP into lane for any reason other than save tower, so you have global pressure. If the botlane are engaging stupidly, you can TP in to help. Either they back off, allowing you to do drake, roam mid, then clear top, or you get a kill, resulting in A) lane pressure, b) potential objective, and c) gold for you, so you get ahead in lane.

There is always something you can do to stop this. The reason I main mid is because i don't trust anyone else there, and I know if i'm behind, i need to shove lane and roam as much as possible, to prevent my enemy laner to get even more of an advantage.

Welcome to solo queue

Soloque is usually very vulnerable to roaming as well. I like playing TP so i can go bot if I see a chance to help out. I seem to always die if I try to roam as a mid.

What i've noticed with roams in lower elo's is that the TPs come in too late or too early, rarely on time. And when the midlaner roams, he forgets about his lane.

I went 7/2/9 once as Hecarim.

Top and bot fed like a buffet. I just couldn't stop it even with multiple counterganks.

I died once. We lose inhib. I died the 2nd time. GG.

Literally every other lane fed.

Sometimes the matchmaker puts us with obvious veggies.

Oh the problems of being a top laner. From that island we live on, sometimes out isolation makes it difficult to see how everyone else is doing. That being said, that god damn Yasuo mid lane had absolutely no right TO LOSE TO A FULL AP TRYNDAMERE.

Mech20001 votes

Tryndamere in general counters him. AP trynd can spam E as a gap closer which is actually really good against yasuo who dashes off a minion every few seconds. Not to mention AP trynd can trade AT LEAST evenly with the AP heals.

8 times out of 10, people who pick niche picks like AP trynd know what they're doing. I had a jungle ezreal carry a game. Diamond smurf. You don't always know the full story.

If its solo queue why are you scored as a team? o.O'

Isnt that... hypocritical?

You mentioned Pinging, but notice that those don't always get through. I usually ping in sets of 3-5 just to get their attention. Also with Enemy missing ping, I ping the lane that is missing, and then the lane that they will probably go to. And again, multiple pings per lane.

happens to me too :(

Yup. I've been on like a month-long loss streak where I, as an individual, DESERVED (meaning I didn't play well, fed, didn't cs well etc.) only like 3 matches. I've been playing a bit of top-lane recently and looking down and seeing their mid and ADC fed AF at 8 minutes isn't uncommon

Papa Slothy1 votes

mmr should fix some of these problems, but I would suggest just playing with a friend who is near your skill level

FlippyGoneTrippy1 votes

Help your team out more. You hear the ADC is on a rampage? Tp down bot. You have no one to blame but yourself for being totally oblivious to the team's score for the first 12 minutes of the game.

Because your ability to win games is what you are being measured on, and nothing else. If you belong at a higher elo than where you are at, you will exert a positive influence on the games you play and more often than not, you will win, and you will climb the ladder. If you are where you belong, then you will and lose about an equal number of games.

Yes, sometimes some games are uncarriable, and that's fine. Make the quality of your play the primary focus rather than the result of any individual game.

checks ranked games for the last 10 days

Thresh: 1/5/4 Leona: 1/6/4 Kalista: 10/12/7 Le Blanc: 0/5/2

Bloody bot and mid! Always feeding.

Spacesuit Spiff1 votes

Ok so you dont lose points because your botlane went 0/10? Then youd also have to not gain points when your bot goes 10/0. This has been brought up endlessly over the years and as nice as it would be no system is gonna be less stupid than what we have now.

Besides, ranked is about controlling the game despite 4 randoms. You find bot is the problem? Play support and steamroll bot, then make plays with that fed adc. You find trash adcs are the problem? Play adc (only necessary in bronze imo). Going even toplane, even if youre nasus or something, does nothing to control the game.

Source: got diamond doing exactly this

If you manage to die 12 times while fed, you deserve to lose

To be fair, Riot has put in a fairly decent system to grade individual performance each match, regardless of position. The post-match grades should have a mitigating impact on the overall team play. You earned an S rank when your team fed horribly and you couldn't carry? -0 LP. You fed like a scrub and got carried by great teammates? +0 You could play with the numbers a lot more, but especially for qualifiers there should be more forgiveness than pure W or L judgement if your team feeds, or worse you have someone AFK'd/DC'd all game. Half the problem with crawling up the ranked ladders is getting away from the worst of the trolls. Through a mix of my own failings and trolls, I've been in Bronze a couple seasons, and this last one was by far the worst with feeding, afks, and trolls. The grade system is in effect to show champion "mastery", why not apply the grades to LP as well?
