Steps to fixing mobility creep

Removing tier 3 boots only really made the differences between champions with mobility Yasuo and champions without mobility Ashe even wider. Immobile champions benefited more from the bonus movement speed than champions with dashes (unaffected by boots) ever could. Does anyone honestly believe removing alacrity HURT yasuo's ability to forever stick to immobile champions?

I feel like fixing mobility is especially important for putting the game back on better ground balance wise because when a champion like jinx Jinx or ashe Ashe are being, "Balanced," to compensate for their lack of mobility vs this mess:

Lucian item 3142 item 3071

their damage is buffed to preposterous amounts to deal with the fact that they aren't going to survive for very long. (Since when did Ashe need to have hypercary level damage AND all of her utility?)

So that being said, while I know this will never happens, here's what I would love to see riot try:

  1. Remove item 3742 from the game. It's stat locked to bruisers and juggernauts whose entire weak point as a class is SUPPOSED to be that they can be kited. Just. Remove. it.

  2. Add upgraded boots back to the game. These (rather counter intuitively) do NOT hurt mobility creep, but compress the gap.

  3. Buff Swifties item 3009 back to where they were at the start of the season now that they can no-longer be stacked on top of Dead man's plate. Right now the choice between buying swifties is merc treads is based mostly on whether the enemy team has more slows or stuns. It's a really shitty choice when they have both.

  4. Allow slows to actually affect dashes. ...Not at an 100% conversion rate. I'm confident that a percentage of the slow percentage would probably be entirely necessary. even say, 20-30% of a slow's effectiveness applied to the duration of a dash would probably be overkill to gimp a mobility reliant champion. experiment until you find a balance.

  5. Review all spells with slows and tune them accordingly.

  6. Review all dashes and blinks to make sure each is what it should be consider the changes in 4.

  7. Nerf the absolute SHIT out of item 3116. Change the passive back to what it was in season 5. This item as it is currently is an abomination and i'm pretty sure it's only purpose is to actually help deal with mobility creep. Once dead mans is removed and mobility spells have an actual counter this band-aid can go back to where it was. As it is, it's kind of absurd that you can buy an item with the same AP as a fully stacked ROA item 3027 and 100 more health than ROA's starting stats when mana is practically a worthless stat purchase for most champions. It's already an efficient stat rush but it's broken ass passive is begging to be abused.

  8. buff other AP items to help compensate for Rylai's nerf.

As someone who mains an immobile tank champion i'm sick of getting caught in the arms race between absurd, forever CC, massive sustained damage, and massive amount of free movement speed. It would be nice if I could buy items that are more efficient for tanking item 3143 stat wise and not be forced into buying item 3742 to keep up.

What do you guys think? Am I just insane? How many basic game mechanics and interactions would this break? :^)

Step 1: Revert to tank meta. Step 2: No one cares about your dashes. Step 3: Laugh at every non-tank as they try to kill you.

All I see are good things there!
