Please stop saying a broken champion's counter is CC

Maybe back when tanks didn't explode in under 2 seconds CC was a reasonable answer for how to counter something problematic.

But now? It's just a given. One successful CC, even a slow, usually means instant death for any champion in season 6.

The one exception? The champions people usually try to say CC counters.

Tank ekko, tank fizz, tank yasuo, etc are not any more countered by CC than any other champion. In fact, all three of them are LESS prone to death by CC because each has a, "get our of jail free," ability that requires little to no skill to use effectively.

Ekko has ult. Fizz has the troll pole. Yasuo has windwall.

Between their tankyness, mobility, and their abilities that allow them to escape CCs, they are less countered by CC than any other champion in the game.

Fizz has the troll poll.

When's the election?

A) tanks don't explode in 2 seconds B) Bruiser yasuo and Ekko were just nerfed C) Bruiser/Tank Fizz has been nerfs D) any crowd control effect is inherently anti melee since it prevents a melee champion from doing what it's intended. Whether you like this or not, it's true. The only exception would be Olaf. E) this thread is garbage F) Buff Nasus and Jax

Why do people always use this goddamn fallacy?

CC counters every single champion in the game. No, it does not counter every single one in the game equally well.

The ones you specifically listed are unintended abusive builds that remove their own weakness because of bad design of said tank items and then the champ's base damages/whatnot. Congratulations, you can cherrypick out what are essentially unintended bugs being abused. No, that does not magically make your point more correct.

People say specifically CC counters champions when they're talking about the squishy damage dealers. Why? A tank doesn't give a flying shit if they get CC'd, they'll most likely survive it unless the entire enemy team focuses them. Which really shouldn't be happening if said tank engaged with their team. Also it's just bad decisionmaking to waste all the CC on the tank because then the damage dealers will murder you. So what about said squishy damage dealer? If they get CC'd, almost none of them have any sort of escape mechanism. Coincidentally, like I said, they also have incredibly low health. Also coincidentally, they have next to no resistances if any at all beyond their bases/ones granted by runes/masteries/whatever. So then what happens? Said squishy damage dealer proceeds to evaporate into nothingness over the next half second against any half-intelligent team/player.

Also, in regards to you trying to use another incorrect block of statements to further your fallacy... If Ekko is CC'd, he would not be able to ult in the first place. If Fizz manages to dodge it with Playful/Trickster, no, you did not CC him. If Yasuo blocks said CC with his Windwall, you did not CC him.

Please actually bother making logical arguments before making a whiny thread like this.

In all seriousness all 3 of what you listed rely on their mobility, so they are literally countered by anything that prevents mobility; IE CC.

Except that Yasuo's bread and butter abilities can be stopped by any kind of hard CC, his dash is telegraphed and Windwall doesn't do shit if he's running or chasing, nor if his opponent has any form of CC that ignores Windwall.

Ekko can get on top of you even if he gets bound by Morgana. Fizz ignores everything in existence while troll polling on top of you.

Really, you make it sound, as if Yasuo had permanent Olaf's ult as his passive or some unfounded bullshit like that.

A broken champion's counter is CC

Depends on the CC also Yasuos WW is lil different than tha troll pole and ekkos ult (Which he cant use if he is CC'd last I checked.) as it can be easily baited out and walked through/around really if you learn its range at each levels its becomes just an minor annoyance and a few seconds ally block sure it can mean life or death for the yasuo but really its just a lazy man's way of kiting as nearly everything it blocks can be kited normally the one thing that makes it slightly broken is the fact its one of the few moves that can avoid damage by a targeted range projectile which is really just the whole ablilty its self either way its not so much a get out of jail card (At least on the levels of tha troll pole and ekko ults) its a get out of doing hard work card.

as AP ekko CC does screw you over hard though, get hit by a snare > can't ult > die in half a second
