Today I just found out that one single shot from an AP Varus can do 2070 damage in 1 blow. No type of champion should EVER be able to do that type of damage, much less on a tank. I can't even think of any other skill aside from maybe a high farmed crit Nasus who could possibly come up with that kind of number from 1 single skill. You need to find a way to make that more balanced. It was clear how unbalanced it was when said Varus had twice as much damage as EVERYONE, most likely predominantly from that one skill.

Blighted Quiver does 26 + (25% AP) per "blow", and is a passive. He can't kill anyone with "a single shot".

If he's dealing 2070 with Blighted Quiver, it means he's got three autoattacks onto you to stack it up, then triggered it with one of his other spells. It also means that you've been stacking health without resists against a spell that deals % max health damage.

lest we forget that his ult does 100% ap scaling. i go top with ap varus and am pretty much under the tower the whole time and im not worried becuase pretty much all top laners compared to mid laners typical champs cant dive on you. in my success ive had way better results in the top lane vices the mid lane running asap varus( attack speed ability power)

Blighted Quiver's % damage is literally AP Varus' entire kit though. Its balanced because he has to AA you three times then use another spell to proc it, and its very easy to either dodge his Q/E/R or kill him before he can stack it.

Its like Malzahar's W. Yeah it can do ~75% maxHP damage with a full AP build, but you have to stand on it for the full duration for that to happen.

thats why u max out his w fisrt then his e becuase its a aoe so its extrelemtly hard to miss

becuase ap varus fed is the strngest champ in the game you will 100hp-0hp in 1 sec on any champ in the game. your liek vayne but way way stronger
