Personally it doesn't bother me since I play all roles. But I've seen too many one trick ponies complain how this breaks the game. So I propose that only 1 person per team can be auto filled. -OR- Each team must have equal number of players auto filled to be fair to each team.

I never had problem waiting in queue for extra few minutes,hell even 10 minutes i will wait if that means that i will play one of the positions i picked.

No one is stopping you. in fact you will get into a game faster, because fewer people will be filling and you wont have a dodge 4 out of ever 5 champ selects. Auto fill "fixes" a problem that doesn't exist below high diamond(and sure AF never existed in normals). This idea that "you should play what the game tell's you to play" is so fucking backwards lol

I don't even get my secondary position most of the time.
If I had to say, it's like 80% primary, 15% secondary and 5% or less autofill.

You know, the one where your lane was determined by pick order, and people bitched way less than they do now, since the the role picking has created some sense of entitlement. 3TWarrior2 votesnot a good idea as then if an experienced player is put into a position against a lower ranked player, they are more than likely to come out on top. It is a variable but say a platinum that knows how all of the positions are played ends up against a gold in the same boat
it's going to be fairly even but is likely to edge in the platinum player's favor

im not a one trick, but i cant play jungle. between its annoying balancing game of when to farm and gank and counter jg and all that shit, EVERY year it changes! Like legit the jungle hasnt stayed the same for more than a season since i started :/
I can play every other role fine, 3-5 champs per role i'd say i'm "good" with and i have 2 champs per role at pretty high mastery, but i dont ever want to learn jungle. I shouldnt HAVE to learn a shitty and tedious role cause Riot thinks I dont wanna wait a few minutes to get a role i want. Props to those that do it like the game needs you, but i fucking can't stand it just like some hate support or ADC. People have queued as fill to just get it over with and get an auto fill protect token. People bitch when remakes waste said token too, it's that valuable. Riot needs to just remove auto fill or make it some sort of thing someone can opt into. If its because that lame "but no one plays support" argument then do something to fix support already. Make some subclass of support the next class rework and make the role appealing so i dont have to get flamed for playing badly at a role i never wanted (and pre-dynamic queue never had to get)

If you can play all but one role, that that one isn't support, you should have no problems trading 90% of the time you get autofilled. So no need to learn jungle as long as you're comfortable in other roles.

But yeah when someone does trade, i thank them over and over again and appreciate that at least im not trying ot trade support. I actually main that under ADC (may as well learn both sides of the botlane right? lol) but also love mid (mages) and top (Kled. Just kled. If not kled i settle for a tank but Kled XD)

personally I know how to play every roll so i'm fine with it.
But when you get a auto fill that's like
" OMFG auto filled to support some one please trade.. Mid please trade with me I main mid"
mid says no
So then the auto filler insta locks Brand,
(not saying brand isn't a support)
but they insta lock brand go full ap build, steal farm, take every kill from the adc, never ward and then complain all game that their ADC sucks cause he does no damage and doesn't know how to farm with their low CS.
then demands the ADc get reported for Feeding. cause they are 0-4-10.
Vectros1 votesThe dumb thing is, autofill is meant to reduce que times-but it can still take me over 20 minutes to get a game going, sometimes 30. Why? Dodging. A top laner is filled to support? Dodges after 2 minutes in champ select.
Then I end up getting put support after 20-30 minutes of waiting. I'd rather wait 20-30 mins and get the role/champion I want (like in the old team builder) then take a long time and get auto filled.
