Champion List: Broken, Please Repair

So there are some champs in this game that have either zero counter play in their kits or just don't flow with the game. Here are all the champs (in my opinion) whose kits need to be removed from the Field of Justice.

  1. Fizz I dont want to say his whole kit is broken, just his E. Its arguably the best basic ability in the game. There isn't one thing you can do to play around it either. There is to much utility in this single ability and the AoE damage is just absurd.

  2. Heimerdinger This little guy is one of your worst nightmares to lane against. You can't trade with him and any poke you deal to him will just be healed up because of his passive. Remove his turrets and he will fit into League better, but unfortunately that will take away the feel of the Donger. He feels as if he were designed for another MOBA rather than LOL.

  3. Katrina Low cooldowns, no mana costs, crazy AP ratios, and resets. Riot... why? In all seriousness though, Kata isn't the problem, or even her damage. It just her damage to so many people. She is one of those champs that feels a little so safe to play and maybe some slight nerfs rather than a whole change in kit would be better.

  4. Master Yi As of March 17, 2016, I would argue that Master Yi is the most broken champ League has ever seen. Get 2 items on this guy (BoRK and RageBlade) and you can solo any other champion in the game (unless misplay or something). He can siege towers (WITH ONLY TWO ITEMS MIND YOU) before the opposing team has time to TP to them. His Q is up there with Fizz's E and unless your team has complete and unrelenting CC, you will loose the game. And even if you do, he will probably just split push to victory. You can't even build tanky against this guy, he does true damage on hit. Out of all the champions I listed, I think Master Yi is in the biggest need for changes.

  5. Nunu Please make this guy useful, rather than a guy that will spit snowballs and deal 900 damage a piece. A chance in E and a little bit of tweaks to his R and Nunu could possibly be in a very viable spot.

  6. Signed Running simulator. That's all Signed has to his kit. A super tanky, running man. He is similar to Donger where he doesn't really fit into league and you can't change what's wrong with him because that will end up changing his feel.

  7. Skarner What the actual... How many times has this guy been reworked or changed? Each time it just gets more wonky. I mean, i guess if you still want to play dominion, then Skarner's your guy- Scorpion... crystal?

  8. Teemo Who even likes this guy? (I know there are a lot of Teemo players out there) But seriously, this dude's kit is just cancer incarnate. Make Teemo good at a role rather than just be good for completely ruining the other top laner or ADC's day. His kit is so painfully broken (and when I say broken I dont mean "OP" I just mean it's, well broken).

  9. Tryndamere What the flying f*** was going on in Riot's mind when making a champ with a 5 second invulnerability. Granted, there is infinitely more counterplay to him than Master Yi because you can kite him rather easily. He isn't that good at any role in League, just kinda bounces between crazy op and less-than-viable. He could use some fine-tuning to be more role-specific.

  10. Zilean Pre-rework, post-rework... Doesn't matter. He feels super clunky and doesn't have much rhyme or reason to his kit. Same boat as Donger and Signed where you can't change the problems and not just end up creating a new champion.

Honorable Mentions:

  1. Graves His weird AA mechanic is what prompted me to put him on here. But I think is just a good champion (rather than being outright OP). He is a pretty versatile pick and has a decent amount of counter play.

  2. Jhin Same thing as Graves with the reload. But unlike Graves, Jhin doesn't really feel like he has a predetermined role. By the way, that's fine. I think Jhin was how to make a champion that feels different, but in the right way.

  3. Illaoi This is how you make a different champion in the wrong way. In concept, she is really cool. But in reality, she is just a tank that will occasionally bonk things.

  4. Galio Make him ranged!!

  5. Bard Change that dude's lore and give him a new passive. Also, I think bard would be a very cool champ to try Mana scaling with. Ryze is currently the only champ that has this Mana scaling and I think trying it out with Bard would be interesting. As a champ, I think Bard is very good, just somewhat wonky. (This was more of personal preference, rather than anything actually being wrong with him.)

  6. Twitch Don't get me wrong, Twitch can be a beastly ADC, but it feels like you need to build a whole comp around him. Along with it feeling like he only has two abilities (Q and R). His passive, w, and e are just kinda bad. His E is pretty much strictly worse than Kalista's. One solid tweak to his passive or W and he is Tier 1.

  7. UNIT COLLISION Why is this a thing? Why does something like unit collision exist. I can understand having to walk around champions or jungle camps... But minions. Really?! I shouldn't have to use my flash because 3 minions decided to stand around my ankles.

  8. Red Side being worse than Blue Side: It seems like starting off, Red Side has a pretty notable disadvantage. Starting with the lanes; at top lane, the jungler can sweep around and avoid ward coverage through tribush. Blueside's tribush is behind tower, so getting ganked through that route is unlikely. At bot lane, the tribush is behind the tower, making dives a lot easier (because of the extra person bot lane, dives are a lot more likely to happen).

Then objectives. It feels like getting dragon stolen on red side happens a lot more than on blue side. Or when trying for Baron, if you get collapsed on, there is nowhere to run. If you dont have an escape, you're just stuck in the pit. The side you are placed one (which you have no control over) shouldn't play any role on the outcome of the game... But it sure as hell fells that way.

These are just my oppions and feel free to tell me what you think. And by no means do I think variety is bad, there are just some champions who impact the game in a negative manner.

*Note: I didn't include some champs due to upcoming reworks

Don't you touch my singed. Maybe his passive. Riot can touch his passive all they want. Shit's garbage. No one good at singed even bothers building roa or aa in most games anyway.

Kat has a lot of relatively hidden power. E gives damage reduction. W gives movespeed. Ult applies grievous wounds. She's basically an ap version of yi.

Fizz is just cancer. No argument there. His e is up way too often.

Nunu is only actually strong when counterjungling is strong and neutral objectives are extremely important. His state of balance is so dependent on the meta that it might be best to rework him entirely.

Galio needs a rework. He is balanced entirely around his mana costs and picking him into the right comp is a free win. Bulwark is a move designed for the wrong game entirely.

I'll add Fiora and Cho Gath to the list. Fiora's new kit is an abomination. Punishes mistakes in a way that makes pre season 6 riven seem like a fair champ in lane. Cho's kit is just stupid. He's impossible to remove from lane without gank pressure. His scream and rupture are some of the jankiest moves in the game. His design is flat out old and shitty.

Jhin is fine, just overtuned. That and I think it's awful that attack speed slows don't lower his AD. There are currently no good armor items to beat him other than more of them.

I think Zilean is much much better after the rework. Keep in mind, bombs were point and click instant before. The champ is still kinda low counterplay, but it's at least there now.

Skarner is a dead champ. Same as morde. Riot doesn't know what to do with them.

Teemo is... interesting. He's one of those champs that just completely shuts out a lot of matchups. I think he's actually really similar to gnar in that respect. Teemo largely plays a different game than many other champs.

Shaco is an absolute shit show of a champ. Riot can keep nerfing him, but he'll always come back when the meta favors him. Good shacos are terrifying, but his barrier to entry is high, which I'm cool with, cause he is one of those "me" champs, where the game is all about him.

Quinn gets way too much power from her ult. I'm not sure if she's broken or way overtuned, but she needs work done. Time will tell.

Panth is just stupid. An ult is a guaranteed kill in most cases, which really sucks cause it means you have to make up that pressure somehow. Same as TF, honestly.

Tryn is another "me" champ. The game is about me. If you leave me alone, I'll 1v1 or 2v1 anyone, and I'll split push your nexus and there's nothing you can do unless your team is steam rolling.

Leblanc. She's a walking death radius. Same as annie, but bigger. Oh, she's also stupidly safe.

There's probably more I'm forgetting. People can up or downvote all they want. I don't really care. These are just my opinions on champs that have been problems in the past.

I wouldn't count on any meaningful changes to Teemo, teemophobia is there since very begging of League and it didn't happen yet, so apparently Riot is more or less fine with him.

Heimerdinger: I'm your worst nightmare ! -a wild Nunu appears out of jungle, consumes a turret, then smites a turret as he proceeds to gank- Heimerdinger: WTF NERF NUNU

I do find red side really awkward. It's like in a mmorpg I'm usually controlling my character to move forward, but suddenly I'm told to move my character toward me instead. Perhaps flipping the map 180 degree for those players on red side might help on that issue, but if that's not an issue for everyone then I doubt they'll consider making that change.
