played vs a jinx adc who had a full supp ivern soraka peeling for him

let me just say that at the time i thought being squishy actually meant something in the game.

jinx was healed to full hp and given a shield every 4 seconds.

i was 10-1 with fervor on riven with ninja tabis and huge damage and iw as on that skinny bitch for 10 seconds straight trying to kill the jinx with no clue how to position but since they have ivern it didntmatter. i even had exec calling to stop soraka heals by 40 percent but that shit did nothing.

game stalled to 50 minutes and we had to jump on jinx before she got 50 shields ontop of heals and killed us.

nerf ivern for the love of fucking god.

by all rights you shouldn't be killing jinx, it's 1 vs 3, if you DID kill jinx then that would have been bullshit

did you get any items to counter act the healing and regen ? say this item right here ? item 3033 did you take summoner 14 in the game over summoner 12 ? did you get anything to slow jinx's attack speed and make you tankier? like item 3143 ?

What support did you guys have? Did they pick some mage support against a Soraka Ivern combo, cause I know that would suck. Tbh, shielding + healing is op, but so is damage. I say they nerf them both, so your health bar means something cause atm your health bar either goes from 100-0 in a flash, or 100-100 from all the shields/heals. Make health bars mean something again plox... lol

I think there was some counterplay (although not much) in that situation.

First of all, one of the worst ways to handle that situation would be to single-mindedly run at Jinx, ignoring her supports. If you let Soraka land her Q and stick to the carry, they will get massive heals. I understand that Ivern gets hard to kill late game but could you have killed the Soraka first? Could you have separated Jinx from her supps somehow? Or, if things got really bad, tried to pick people off and avoid teamfights? These are just some examples.

Basically 2 supports looking after a good ADC is very difficult to beat, it would require great team co-ordination & vision to try and pick one of the supports off.

I don't think this is an issue with Ivern being busted, more of a "their team was better than ours"

Then kill Jinx.
