Riven can combo in 1.5s with proper animation cancel and have you CC'd for that entire duration.
Riven only used half her abilities and had no ult. If her W had absorbed damage, had her Q deal more damage, had she used her passive rather than running, that would've been a better trade in her favor.
And Riven's base stats are about ADC-tier, esp for a melee champ.
We don't know runes on either champ.
Jayce can be taken down a peg, but Riven definitely misplayed.
It's about 2 seconds with proper animation canceling, at least according to Riot. I saw someone say that (who was a Rioter).
Riven used all of her abilities except for 1 Q, as effectively as possible. There is no way for Riven to get to Jayce without expending either her E and Q, or 2 Q's. It looks like he kinda did the first, since Jayce was still full health before the W, but he was probably extending his Q's. He probably should've stunned slightly later, but tbh it wouldn't have mattered. If he hadn't been extendng his Q's, that's about another 150 damage, which wasn't anywhere near enough when you look at Jayce's damage for her to win the trade. He did use his passive almost as effectively as possible (he could've auto'd and then stunned, at the beginning), and if he had stuck around to use his passive more, he wouldn't have stood a chance. It made no difference whether or not she ran.
Riven can CC you for around 1.75 seconds in total, and that's including her knock up (and basing the knock up duration at 1 second). Her stun literally lasts .75 seconds. There's no way she can have u cc'd for the whole Q combo. She can CC you for most of it if she doublecasts, but then she loses out on an auto attack of damage and is forced to E offensively.
Tbh Riven should not have gone in without all 3 Q's up, as seen in the video she couldn't get out. If she had taken Stormraiders, that would've solved that problem too.
But still. Jayce took about 1/3 of his health while CC'd, which is a pretty damn good trade for Riven. Sadly, his chase down and range was too much for Riven to even attempt anything. Seriously, the best Riven could do is Q+Q (to get into range) auto+W+auto+third Q+E out, and even then there's a chance that Jayce would still catch up with her. Viper burned his E on the way in, and Jayce managed to 100-0 him off that.
No offense, but you clearly don't know Riven well.
