Ever since Pre-Season, absolute focus was barely/never used and hasn't been changed ONCE
Hell, I even had to go on the Wiki to know the actual name of this thing without going on the client since I actually never had to know its name due to its pure uselessness.
For those who dosen't remember, Absolute Focus is the third "excellence" rune in the sorcery tree, along with transcendance and celerity. It gives you either (due to adaptive scaling) 3 to 24 bonus AD or 5 to 40 AP IF and only IF you are above 70% of your max health.
It has been like this since launch, and it's barely usable due to...
1- Giving barely any stats except at max level, where those numbers are still going to be underwhelming anyway at this point of the game
2- Not even proccing 80% of the time, since you'll seldom be above 70% both in the early game (except for
) because of electrocute/aery/comet/
and other poke-able abilities who chips your health in half. and late game becaus eof how snowbally the game has become
3- Even when used correctly, Absolute Focus is eclipsed by the 2 other members of its rune slot, since transcendance is ideal for most mages and celerity for a handfull of assassins or things like
, thus badly impacting diversity.
Ever since the implantation of Runes reforged, we saw countless runes getting either reworked or adjusted, and yet Absolute Focus was amongst those who needed the most attention EVER SINCE THE START and never ever got anything changed except for a tooltip change and a bugfix. Seeing Sorcery becoming the least satisfying tree while being by far the one with the least diversity of builds within it, I feel like Absolute Focus should DEFINITELY be top priority when it comes to whatever rune changes comes next
