I feel like Practice Tool could be perfect for practicing vs certain laning matchups

If you and a friend could have skirmishes with a certain champion, it would really help with laning phases. You could ask someone to help you with your farming and with learning when to harass, you could practice all-ins and learning when to make a dive and when not to, you could also learn how to survive vs matchups that your champion suffers horribly in.

You could also practice dodging certain skillshots that may give you trouble, learn about what items are the best possible start vs a situational matchup and etc. Just things you simply cannot learn through wailing on a single AI or a dummy.

It feels like a waste to not allow 1 invite to a friend for practice sessions in something that's absolutely perfect for such things.

Not like you can do any of that in a custom game.

Okay so take what you just said.

You can't restart a custom game. meaning for every time you fight or die, you have to leave the game, remake it, then go through the loading screen and still walk back into lane. meaning if you want to practice a particular matchup from only level 1 - 3 meaning

You can't set yourself to not getting exp in a custom game.

You can't make the minions pause so you can just focus on practicing on skirmishes in custom matches.

There are a few things you can do in custom matches yes. but not to the level of practice tool.

while you raise a fair point about locking XP and remaking (to some extent) canceling minions to focus on skirmishes is among the worst idea ever because they play a very important part of early fights in lane. minion do a ton of damage. Not to mention that every part of the the lane from 1-3 also matters. Being able to restart the game would be very nice but trying to isolate specific fights and doing it without minion is just going to hurt you when you actually go into game. Because you arent going to be learning about lane positioning and minion damage/creep agro/block which are very very important for winning the early game. I have lost and won multiple games because I or the opposing laner didnt respect minions.
