@riot can you after 7 years please finally fix singed his Q poison trail turning invisible in FoW?

played against a singed on dominion and my god the frustration of not even knowing you are walking into his Q because he is in the fog of war turning it invisible, talked about pure frustration and lack of clarity.

i think his poison should work more like how aurelion sol's stars do, in that if you should be able to see them you can, even if you cant see the champion. it makes no sense to have his trail invisible if hes in the fog of war other than to make it harder to follow him if he gets out of sight. but he can just turn it off to get the same effect

Then he can get banned from LCS due to a bug :3

Agreed, Riot even said that you can see Aurelion's stars because they're too powerful for you to not see, but Singed trail stays invisible making it difficult to even see where the damage is coming from.

This mechanic is intentional - just google "singed poison trail in FoW" and im sure you'll find a post with a Rioter commenting on how that's how its supposed to be.

Just because something is intended to be in the game doesnt make it good.

Mhmm. Not a bug though. Just one of the 1,000 things in this game that are frustrating.

I can't seem to find a rioter response.

besides even if it's not a bug it's still unfair, his Q poison trail can be seen for a reason after all, so you know where to avoid walking.

Same way as Nunu ult.

Though process goes like this:

They have a Singed/Nunu on their team. I'm walking towards this bush and I'm taking damage/slowed. Singed/Nunu is on that bush. Time to get the fuck out.

They're two different things, though.

One is a sudden burst ultimate ability. The other is a trail of poison that is always on.

You can't navigate around Nunu ult, because it's an entire area, but you can walk around Singed poison trails... except when they turn invisible.

It's extra frustrating in the Dominion game mode because there are corners and bushes absolutely everywhere, so you can expect Singed poison to basically always be invisible. It's almost like facing a Teemo with 0 cooldown shrooms, and I'm pretty sure you can realize how frustrating that would be.

Unless that Singed is screwing around with a heavy AP build, you won't take that much damage, nor be slowed for long (assuming a Rylais), as the poison damage lasts 3 seconds. It's not half as bad as a Teemo mushroom as it is way more situational, since his poison trails lasts 3 seconds, and it requires him to be in the exact place he hopes his target will be in the next 3 seconds and then move into the fog of war. It's way too situational.
