I watched it and I was VERY annoyed that you have no problem removing champions from their classes that players like them in. You removed Karma as a battlemage/enchanter and categorize her as an enchanter now. You admitted four years ago before her relaunch that the bulk of her success and those players enjoyed playing her more in the top and mid lane. Fast forward to today and you have done nothing but do the opposite of what you are saying. At what point did Karma ever have an identity after her relaunch? Answer this. Mass shields and speed boost already exist in the game in champion kits and items actives. Her mass shields are not unique or done in a way that is unique to Karma, when before her shield bomb was unique, played on her real theme, and was more interesting than what we have now.

I wouldn't be sitting here for four years in a row telling you Developers the same thing. Karma is nothing but a shield bot enchanter with an overpowered Q early game. She is only relevant right now because of shield enhancing items and the number buff to E + R. Her kit is still a mess, it is very poorly executed, isn't what the REAL fans want on her, and you continue to categorize her as something she is not. Karma is supposed to be a battlemage with enchanter qualities. Not an enchanter that sits in the back after level 6 and builds shield enhancing items.

I called it. I said when you buffed her E + R she was going to become popular in the LCS and you were going to use that as an excuse to do absolutely no work on her. If you had done her E + R in a unique way and made it appealing, I would not be sitting here saying this again to you. The LCS players do not care about the champion. You don't apparently care about the champion. The real FANS seem to care about the champion. You seem to have no problem ruining champion identities but when it comes to Ryze, Jinx, newer champions, LB and a few others . . . you seem to care all of a sudden. When in the past four years will you care about Karma, Morde, and others?

How is Karma's current kit a good representation of her lore, incomplete visual update, a battle leader, a beautiful battler, the soul of Ionia? It's not. For four years you have done nothing but waste time on a certain blue champion and you continue to talk about how pitiful his play rate is. Removing Ryze from the game if he is that troublesome.

Saying this again, do you care about Karma? It doesn't look like it because you basically classified her as an enchanter. All you seem to care about is how she is functioning in the LCS. All of us old time Karma players knew you would do this and then throw some warped data in our faces that "hey, players prefer new Karma as a shield bot." These new players do not know old Karma. These players probably won't care about the champion as we do since they never played her pre-relaunch.

  • Also, Rengar classified as a diver? Really? No. Just no.

As always, stay frosty.

"We currently dont have any plans for Karma, but we think overall, she is in a good spot."

Come on, I dare you to say it.

For once I would love to talk to a Rioter that gets what Karma is, was and needs. Ironically, only Meddler ever came close to this, from what I have read... but he is probably one of the few Rioters left, that even were around for old Karma. I then sometimes wonder, how the newer Rioters even COULD know, what to do with Karma, or what even the problem is her community is having.

Where is the timestamp for him talking about Karma?

From what I remember they briefly mentioned Karma, talking about her skin colour :/

The guy doesn't talk about Karma directly. He talks about removing and changing specific champions around. If I remember before the subclass list was revised, Karma was put as something else or was a hybrid. Now she is a full fledged Enchanter. It goes against everything they said years ago and also what the real mains care about. These LCS kids can give two craps about the acutal champion.

Riot doesn't want to talk about her because they need to tread lightly with anything regarding Karma. They screwed up once and they don't want to do it again. Like I said years ago, they are going to use time and the LCS as an excuse to keep her the way she is. They do not care what the mains who really care about her think.

I have actually uninstalled LoL and I will not be playing indefinitely, until I see significant Karma changes. I have had enough with this Development team the past four years and I need to either get a life and do other things . . . or continue to support a Development team that doesn't care. They are not getting my money anymore. Not like anyone cares but another long time player gone.

I'll chime in on the boards once and a while and post, but I am not going to waste my time anymore. Nothing to rectify mistakes on Karma was done the past four years. It's probably not going to happemn at this point with this Development team. They don't care.

I was also very surprised when I saw that they removed her from the battlemage class. The only reason they would do it is because they saw that she is picked a lot in both LCS and soloQ...which might have led them to believe that it is actually a good idea to change her into an enchanter. Personally I like to play her as an enchanter but by no means this means I like doing it all the time and it shouldn't be her main and only job. If anything the thing that made me fall in love with this champ was her battlemage qualities.

I think that Rito should stop being so stubborn and start listening Karma's community. I don't know why they don't reply in our/your threads. Is it because they already stated what they think and are tired of repeating? Or is it because they are afraid that we would just downvote them to oblivion and refuse to listen? From what I saw is that some Karma players( including you Wintertechnics ) make really constructive and reasonable threads and that also the Karma community really wishes to communicate with Rito. So many of you tried to make so many threads to establish these first steps of this communication. I don't know why they don't want to reply.

Even if we are dedicated to a champ, to our Karma, it doesn't mean that the other players don't play her...true... and we might be just but a small mot in this league community. However we as dedicated players to our beloved Karma know what made and makes her interesting and maybe successful in some areas. If people say she is boring to spam R+E in the backline then it means it's time to stop and listen to the people who have a lot to say about her.
