What do you do if your lane opponent is using you as a buffet line?

I've hit this situation every now and then. What do you do if whenever you go to lane your opponent just tower dives you and kills you because he's just so much stronger than you? I feel the obvious answer is to roam.

Is this okay if you essentially just give up turret? Also, what if you're so behind that any lane can now 2 shot you? What do you do?

"Stay back and farm" some people say, but what if you're a melee without any escapes or they can still just 2 shot you under turret? Should you just kind of leech exp off other players? Do you jungle?

Staying in your lane, suicide farming, and pushing to the other guy's tower to FORCE him to stay in his lane and kill you (or take the tower if he doesn't) can actually be your best shot to win in this situation. Your gold on death falls off due to having so many deaths already, the other guy isn't able to abuse his current advantage on the rest of your team because he has to spend his time killing you over and over, and you are at least able to build up gold off of CS to be relevant later in the game.

The problem is that your teammates 95% of the time will not understand what you're doing and will just rage and report you for intentional feeding. Plus your score will look terrible so they'll feel even more justified in whatever they do to you. Too bad nobody understands that doing nothing is 10x worse than applying pressure while dying.

Yeah you should really try to recognise that things are getting out of control and play back under turret before they get to the point tower diving is viable.

Still, if you are at that point, giving up the turret is better than getting dove, giving up your life and still losing the turret.

Depending on the champions involved and how far behind you are, roaming to gank other lanes might work, or just turning to jungle camps is the way to go. I probably wouldn't suggest leeching xp though, as you'll just set another lane behind, and your goal at that stage tend to let yourself be carried, rather than try to leech teammate resources until you can try to carry yourself despite the setbacks (which rarely works).

In some cases I've seen people pick up an ancient coin out of desperation if they can't even get close enough to last hit but don't have other options to get gold. Almost independent of your champion choice, falling back to full tank+zzrot (and/or banner) is a means to allow yourself to be indirectly useful without putting yourself at much risk of letting an enemy snowball off you further. I've even seen some mid lane mages go for tank+rot and be much more useful than you'd think under those circumstances, but try to realistically assess the situation and build in the manner that has the best chance of being useful (this is rarely going to be pure damage) given you're behind.

Give them the turret and roam to do something elsewhere on the map. After he takes turret, freeze at inner turret till you catch up. Ward far up the lane so you can see him coming. When he gets to you, he'll be overextended, so just make sure enough epople are around to kill him. Rinse and repeat till you've gotten enough farm to hold your own.

Things should not reach the point where your lane opponent can tower dive you at will. Don't bother thinking about what you can do when it happens. Think about not making it happen.

Doesn't help that most meta-maniacs abandon anyone who's falling behind, making you fall behind even more. However I agree, that's pretty much all you can do; if no-one will give you backup to catch up, roam and try to leach whatever gold (or at least exp) wherever you can. That's worse case scenario, assuming the game lasts long enough to even out.

Then you've pretty much lost, you could hope that the jungler comes to help but dont flame him for not winning the lane for you. If you have to trade tower to make something happen on mid or bot then thats fine, at that point you should just hope you get carried and try to get the other lanes ahead. Try your best to make them trade something for top tower though, don't give it up for free.

Whenever I get top and play against a hard counter like Darius ( I play Nasus and Shen) I usually rush a zz'rot portal/banner of command. It helps a lot, keeps pressure off of you and can help with gold income.

What you do doesn't matter.

If you have fed to such an extreme extent that you literally can't go to lane without dying, you are going to lose against an enemy team that is good, and you should.

Get good enough so you don't feed that hard.
