Caitlyn can possibly out- siege/defend heimerdinger

Heimer's cute little turrets can be destroyed by poke and takes awhile to set down, whilst once Cait gets those traps down in front of a turret, there isn't going to be anyone crossing. Despite Heimerdinger being kind of designed as a sieger, while caitlyn was designed a sniper, it seems caitlyn is far better at sieging, especially with a team.

Pros of Heimerdinger's Seige:

  • Turrets theoretically last forever
  • Turrets can occasionally harass
  • Can do more AOE Damage
  • Can clear creep waves (with assistance of friendly creeps or a tank)

Cons of Heimerdinger's Siege: Turrets can be outranged/poked Turrets can die Turrets take 20 seconds (max q level) to be placed again Turrets give gold/stacks when killed Turrets are heimerdinger's main damage output Heimerdinger has no escape aside from possible stun Can be deactivated Enemies could possibly push past turrets Small turret reserves early on (cannot move quickly) Has to dedicate to siege (if leaving enemy could possibly walk through turrets) 1 second place time Only 3 turrets can be placed Cannot almost never deal effective damage to turrets (turrets are prioritized over minions, and requires you to sacrifice an active turret if you are max and use a reserve part)

Pros of Caitlyn Siege: 30-50 seconds (max w level) to prepare a siege depending on how wide of an area needs to be covered Traps are versatile and can also be used to secure a route of escape Caitlyn can use net to escape in tricky situations Traps cannot be destroyed aside from being triggered When placed, traps must be avoided or can severely deter the enemy's advance. 5 Traps can be placed at once Traps give true vision for 9 seconds afterwards Traps can still be active across the map Caitlyn can clear cs waves quickly, costing only 90 mana and 6 second cooldown (max q level) It is possible to harass without using mana Can safely retreat/disengage from enemy Caitlyn can deal good damage to turrets if given any leeway

Cons of Caitlyn Siege: Bveil can counter traps Traps have 1.1 second arm time Traps do no direct damage Waves must be cleared manually/Traps only deter enemy champions If flanked and if caitlyn can't escape with her net alone and has no traps she can be screwed Champions are immune to traps after being trapped for 4 seconds Traps last 90 seconds

Both heimerdinger's turret and cait's trap mana costs are near negligible with 19.6 and 16.8 mp5 at level 18, however at level 1 heimerdinger has 6 mp5 and caitlyn has 7.4 but it takes heimerdinger 72 seconds to place all 3 turrets, while it takes caitlyn 135 seconds.

For a benchmark on heimer turrets, nasus with no AP needs about 2 e's throughout the game to destroy turret(s).

Heimerdinger could use some love :3 possibly more turret hp/hp regen or more placeable turrets?

Heimer counters melee champions, if you make him good vs long ranged champs too, he needs to be deleted....
