why talon's parkour needs to be changed

I get the whole idea about making a mobile roam champ by making talon, i mean you already got quinn but why not get another? I know this rework was a while back already but I've always thought this for the longest time but talon's mobility with his parkour is horse poop stupid.

When you chase a talon and he can jump over so many terrain and out run kassassin who is known to teleport like crazy and kayn who literally phases through walls, something is wrong here. Yeah parkour is cool and all, but doesnt make sense why a parkour guy can outrun those two type of abilities. It's as if we put a marathon runner champion in league and they can outrun a champion in league who is based on the flash or sonic. It just doesnt make sense to me why talon can outrun so many champions. His chase and runaway potential is too ridiculous.

Some ways to further balance the parkour I think is make it cost more. Having literally no mana cost and such a short cooldown because every terrain has their own cooldown makes the short cooldown balanced for whatever reason. Maybe make it cost a large chunk of mana similar to how kass needs to spend a ridiculous amount of mana for each time he ults. Or make his parkour only be spammable outside of combat but during combat he can't just use it in a crazy way to get away and chase people. Make him have to plan out his roams outside of combat similar to how anyone with mobility boots/youmuus or quinn has only good roam outside of combat but not while in combat. don't need to nerf talons parkour to the ground and apply all of these changes at once, im just throwing out some ideas to balance it.

Also, i do not understand the terrain cooldown well enough but which part of the terrain counts as terrain he can jump? At first I thought if a whole terrain is connected together then that counts as the same terrain, but ive seen talon's jump on the same chunk of terrain but just at different points. So do different points on the wall count as different terrain?

I know it may seem like im just hating talon, which im not. I just think it's a little unfair how much mobility he has in and out of combat simply because of parkour. The enemy number 1 for me is still pyke so if anything just nerf that guy. rework him, or delete him out of league lol.

makes whiny post about talon tries to act like post isn’t just because op got wrecked by a talon posts from a smurf so we can’t go see just how badly op was wrecked by a talon

'Short cooldown'

What???

160 seconds is short??? I mean yeah it goes down with levels, but it's still 60 lategame, which is ultimate-level CD typically.

I'm not talking about the terrain cooldown, I'm talking about his e cooldown itself. The e is literally no cost, extremely short cooldown. I think to make it more balanced, should only be available after being out of combat for x amount of seconds so they can't just run away easily from almost every other champ.

Even if a terrain is say 160 second cooldown, after you jump over one wall, there is literally another one behind it usually and the 160 cooldown means nothing when you have so many other walls to jump over. A kass, bard, kayn can only go through so many walls before talon gets away

You could make the section of wall that's unavailable after a jump be much bigger.

I have played against Talon recently, so I fully aware how annoying he is.

Yes please nerf he op because I don't understand champ and make connections to Talon e = Kassadin r even though it doesn't do damage and Kass r nukes. Screw it nerf every champ you don't understand even if they are an average champ

Apparently me saying "parkour needs to be changed" is me saying "please nerf he op"? Just because an ability is not op doesn't mean it's healthy for the game.

Talon's e is annoying because of how many jumps he can do compared to the other cast since there are so many walls he can jump to so if anyone chases him, they eventually lose him because they are either out of mana like kass, on cooldown for magical journey, or on cooldown with kayn's walk through walls ability. It doesn't matter if his e does no damage like kass' ult, the fact of the matter is it's annoying how many wall jumps he can perform compared to any other champ.

Yasuo at least needs minions, monsters, champions to jump to with his e, but jumping over walls is very rare and hard to setup with yasuo's e. Talon on the other hand not only gets a free jump which not only creates a gap, but also a wall for the opponents to get over. So they either have to waste flash or an ability, then after using it, talon can just jump over the next wall nearby. After that, there's only so much you can do, and if you have another thing to chase he will also have another wall to jump over.

The point I'm getting at is talon's e is not op or annoying because it does massive burst damage like kass, provides crowd control, or buffs. Talon's e is annoying because of how often he can jump over walls and making it hard for other champs to be able to catch up to him. You can waste flash and dashes and even then, he could just keep jumping to the next wall. I haven't even mentioned the fact that he could ult to go invis making it even harder to get him but also has flash as well. Yes a kass could catch up to him a few times, but if you don't kill him he will get away. Also, as a kass, you still need to be careful of him turning around and bursting you.

Here's some example of why something doesn't have to be op to be annoying or needed to be reworked. Look at pike's ult right? It isn't op at all, lots of counter play to it, but it sure is pretty stupid since it is a large burst aoe and resets if he gets a kill with it. That's like darius' ult but you don't need to stack bleed and it is splash damage.

Look at yasuo, he is definitely not op because there are plenty of counter play to him, but that doesn't change the fact that he is annoying. But at least I can say yasuo is somewhat fair and healthy because if he makes mistake he is screwed. But talon if he makes a mistake, it would require hard cc or huge burst to punish him since he can jump from wall to wall and almost no other champion could really catch him after 3-5+ jumps.

Again idk why you think im saying talon is op. He definitely is not, but he is very annoying and I believe his e should be reworked because of how stupid it is. It makes bard's magical journey seem like a joke. It makes champs with abilities that sound like they should be able to outrun a parkourer with ease seem like a joke. I get that irl can't be compared to game mechanics, but still it seems silly that a parkour guy can outrun a dude who could rift walk and teleport to the parkour guy with ease or that a guy who can phase through things cannot catch a parkour person. Sure parkour is fast, but if a person can go through walls, they don't need to spend anytime doing parkour and just fly straight to the parkour dude. And the teleporter guy can just get right in the face of the parkour guy in an instant. I think one way to balance this is make it so he cannot use e while in combat, or make it have more restrictions. You have your opinions, I have mine.

Ok... let's massively buff his damage then. No? Then he stays just how he currently is.

Play him, you'll understand how the terrain works PS, try slowing him, the jump is based on movespeed
