Who pissed in you're cheerios? You wan't reasons? He has good innate burst even if you don't build a lot of AP you can still do tons of damage. His passive promotes substantial Auto attacks on the same champion. Having more sustained damage and being able to stay in one place longer gives you a better opportunity to set up your ult. There happy?

Do you see him as a top laner? (Like they are playing him in the LCS a bit)

Also why do you think him as an AD bruiser could beat him as an AP bruiser?

I could see him as a top laner or jungler if people did this AD/bruiser build. I could see something similar to what happened to Fizz. I'm not sure if bruiser Ekko could beat AP ekko in a fight or not. Depends on how much MR he had.

Yeah I mean the only reason I could see it working is because he has the %health dmg ability as a passive on his w. (similar to fizz). Working dmg wise i mean. Obviously the rest of his kit has a lot to offer in terms of engage/escape.
