That Zed ninja buff (no pun intended)

Ok guys, let's take a look at Zed's current change on PBE

Zed Razor Shuriken (Q) Base damage reduced to 70/105/140/175/210 from 75/115/155/195/235 AD ratio reduced to .9 from 1.0 Damage on Multi hit on same target increased to 75% from 50%

So basicaly, the spell's damage is reduced by 5/10/15/20/25 and the ad ratio is reduced by 0.1.

''THATS A NERF'' you say. It is. But the spell also deals 25% more damage then it's used with shadow. Wich makes it deals more damage overall...

''At least they nerfed his ult base damage!!!'' Nah it was removed.

I'm looking closely Rito, be carefull about what you do with this dude. I don't want his lanning to be even more oppressive pls. It already is.

1 shuriken =

before: 235 + 1 AD
after: 210 + 0.9
- nerf ==> 25 + 0.1 AD

2 shuriken =

before: 352.5 + 1.5 AD
after: 367.5 + 1.575 AD
- buff ==> 15 + 0.075 AD

It's indeed a buff when you are hit by 2 shurikens. But the buff for 2 shurikens is smaller than the nerf on 1 shuriken, and his harass in lane should be mostly 1-shuriken hits, not 2.

His shuriken will deal 0.9 AD, not 0.8. Live it's 1.0.

At level 3, this is a difference of 120 damage changed to 138. Assuming Zed lands the Shurikens and has at least 10AD.

But the spell also deals 25% more damage then it used to when it goes through minions. So it pretty much makes up for it and maybe even makes it stronger.

I don't think that's what they mean. I think they mean when Zed + his shadown hits you with the Q. The second Q hitting you used to do 50% damage, now it does 75%. Still a buff, but you're wrong about what it is.

Zed has always been strong, but i dont think he's as bullshit as people make him out to be... He's been the same since i started playing (season 4) and it seems like this season hes the most hyped "op" champion on the forums which is pretty dumb to me.

Not OP, but definitely one of the most frustrating (if not THE most frustrating) champion to play against. He has the highest banrate in the game for a reason, and I think champions can have more problem than just ''being OP''. Being frustrating IS and issue and Zed is perfectly showing how with his average 80% banrate worldwide.

A lot of ppl just jump on hype trains. Because there are plenty more frustrating champions to play against... fizz, rengar, leblanc, ekko, kalista, teemo, fiora, yasuo..etc. some people find champions like Darius or Rammus etc frustrating to play against as well, but why everyone is singling out zed all the sudden is a Lil bogus.
