This is litteraly the biggest hypocrisy I have seen from Riot in my whole life

Current Thoughts on Marksmen

Riot litteraly changed EVERYTHING in the jungle to encourage this kind of meta.

Jungle camps take longer to respawn, making it less effective to farm.

Jungle camps don't give buffs anymore, encouraging the use of smite to simply clear camps faster and then gank instead of keeping smite for a specific camp.

Krugs and Raptors take more time and health to clear, discouraging junglers from clearing them.

Buffs don't have babies anymore, making it even less rewarding to farm in the jungle.

Plants are added, giving junglers a way to litteraly see wich bushes are warded in the lane they are going to gank (Blue plants) and giving them a way to reach the lane they want to gank faster by jumping wall OR giving them escape routes that would have been impossible before (blast cone).

Gave towers a first blood, encouraging ganks bot lane since it's faster to take down a tower as 3 than as 2.

And then Meddler comes and say that the biggest problem right now is the dominance of junglers who can gank often and well? What a surprise!!! WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED THAT :O

I am litteraly raging, it's like Riot put gas all over the place before dropping a lighter in it and then saying '' Wow the place is on fire we really need to fix this''.

EDIT: Forgot to mention how courage of the colossus makes it so much easier to gank

They handled pre-season incredibly poorly. Their first mistake was starting ranked season so soon, not allowing them to properly balance the game before it came out on a competitive level. Now everyone seems to think the game should be fair and balanced when in reality we're still technically on the preseason patch, an out of whack one with too much snowballing, even for my liking.

First and foremost, they should have under no circumstance released Camille when they did. They released a champion that is hitting 54% on release and climbing. This is absurd, especially considering the season just started and there's already a ban taken out of the way.

They started the ranked season, released a brand new champion that is clearly overtuned along with a swoth of other changes then had the audacity to go on a week or two break for the holidays. Don't get me wrong, taking a break isn't bad, but releasing so much and just letting it fester in your game with no changes for so long is poor business practice and should be shunned. They didn't even have the courtesy to wait until after their break before releasing these changes and that's why the community is so pissed.

Even Reddit, a place usually full of plays from streamers and e-sports talk is filled with gameplay threads, mostly stating ADC's are weak (not entirely true). Regardless if they are on point with the real problems, it's still astounding to see so much backlash from a place void of actual gameplay discussion.

Playing this game since beta~ and I can assure you one thing.

Riot has the worst and most obvious retards in their team when it comes to predicting most OBVIOUS negative changes.

And they pay them cash for doing those dumb mistakes.

Imo there was no value added to the jungle camp changes, smite buffs removal, and inclusion of plants. The entire experience is far less structured - and large scale jungle changes always means that the meticulous balance work of the previous season is completely wasted.

Riot should revert the changes and work on growing the viable champion pool for this role given a specific set of rules; not changes the rules every season and experience gross balance issues every year.

Pretty sure Riot isn't looking for a necessarily "balanced" game, but one that's always changing. They want to constantly change the meta in order to keep it from getting stale.
