I miss being able to win without relying so heavily on masteries.

I miss when overall balance wasn't focused on champion/primary masteries interactions.

I miss being able to win without relying so heavily on masteries.

what do you mean the early preseason "gg they have more dark harvests go next" interactions weren't fun? how could you possibly not enjoy 30% of someone's damage coming from one rune?

I miss Fervor of Battle, Thunderlord's Decree and all the other Keystones that weren't utterly broken and mini nukes.

Nyarlathοtep2 votes

I think thunderlords dealt more dmg than electrocute.

Zero Skill Tank5 votes

It did less damage. Was easier to proc on some champs though. I used to love going TLD Teeto with item 3145 + item 2015 just to screw with people minds xd

It would be nice if they removed stuff like conq for fervor and swapped out some other stuff then kept the rest of the tree

lol

ok

Compared to Electrocute or any other damage keystone right now, Thunderlord's wasn't a nuke at all after it got tuned down.

Tbh, Deathfire touch would fit right in with the new sorcery keystones. If we're going to have electrocute, Dark Harvest, Aery, and Comet, I see nothing wrong with Deathfire Touch. It's another flavor of doing damage that should appeal to a slightly different cast of characters. I say bring it on. Fourth sorc keystone.

I can agree with that. Even better if we keep it wholesale from its last version, but allow it to apply to anything instead of just champions. It would really give liandries syndrome champions a stable power.

idk if that's healthy, keystones are really meant to be champion-combat-specific. All the precision keystones only proc off champions (except FF which has a greatly reduced effect on minions), all the domination ones are the same, all the resolve ones only work when fighting champions, the inspiration ones (aside from spellbook weirdness) only affect champions, and all the current sorcery keystones only proc off champions, too.

Champions with liandries syndrome are often very weak though, and with no cooldown due to lower damage its very feasible to let them apply their crutch to everything. DFT, realistically, is a Singed and malzahar crutch.

Not true, comet does more damage and the CD can be reduced by frequent spellcast. Aery must return to you before you can send her out again, does less damage and also the biggest difference is that aery provides a shield

no no no and old runes can give you cd and about damage its better you can`t say not true about damage

DFT would replace scorch, as DFT compared to other keystones is actually very weak.

That's not true at all? It's literally a better aery and comet

That's not true at all? It's literally a better aery and comet

Do you even know what DFT did?

Dealing ability damage to enemy champions applies a bleed, dealing 1 (+ 3.125% AP) (+ 5.625% bonus AD) magic damage every half-second for a duration based on their type. Single Target: 4 seconds for a total of 8 (+ 25% AP) (+ 45% bonus AD) magic damage. Area of effect: 2 seconds for a total of 4 (+ 12.5% AP) (+ 22.5% bonus AD) magic damage. Damage over time: 1 second for a total of 2 (+ 6.25% AP) (+ 11.25% bonus AD) magic damage.

Aery; Damaging an enemy champion signals Aery to dash to them, dealing 10 − 40 (based on level) (+ 15% bonus AD) (+ 10% AP) Adaptive damage.

Comet; Damaging an enemy champion with an ability hurls an Arcane Comet at their current location, dealing 30 − 100 (based on level) (+ 35% bonus AD) (+ 20% AP) Adaptive damage after a brief delay.

DFT is not comparable to aery OR comet unless youre comparing its single target, in which case only its scaling is barely comparable. DFT's power level is exactly that of a damage-oriented RUNE rather than a keystone... If we wanted it to be a keystone, say to replace nimbus cloak, it would need Aery's base damage and its single target scaling.

I REALLY MISS QUINN WITH OLD RUNES FUCK i get penta 4 times with quinn she was op just 1 or 2 hit [sg-soraka]

Bløød Zerø5 votes

Yeah I miss deathfire but it would be cool to get a new rune keystones similar seeing how resolve, inspiration, sorcery all don't a 4th rune keystone. Like make a a magic burn one for sorc seeing how most dps abilities users were mages anyways.

I'd love to see a fervor similar rune as well but maybe like instead of autos gain more damage stacking how about after using 3 abilities gain adaptive damage stacking up to 3 times for inspiration.

Tbh I miss that old rune where you would farm large minions and monsters to get maximum health up to 300, I would run it on cruisers all the time and be able to afford one more damage item over a tank or bruiser item. So maybe for resolve?

Idk just some base ideas obvs I thought of 0 numbers and which champs would make it complete busted but y'know I just miss them on my fave champs from each role.

Too close in effect to the current Overgrowth rune. They very likely wouldn't have both as options. (Overgrowth is slower, but it's a 'lesser' rune whereas Strength of the Ages was a Keystone)

True. Although I would like something so I can still have a similar effect so I can build that one extra damage item on lets say Jax before going the rest tanky just Idk what that keyatone could be. Hmm well we really don't get much say in what happens in league's future down here anyways lol.

Deathfire touch was actually a pretty balanced keystone, it made sure that champs of a certain damage type were kept in check if they took the keystone, AoE, DoT, and Single Targeted. Honestly feel with all my heart that they bring back this keystone i miss it so much, it was fun to use and not horrible to go against as it had the balance mechanic based on damage type and it was delayed, what more counterplay could you ask for, while still being a good preforming and scaling keystone - Riot take notes!

Scorch should be in the Aery or comet spot, because those are almost the same thing anyway.

I stopped playing anivia after deathfire got removed... It was just never the same.

Anivia was a beast since deathfire applies to all enemies in her ult. Now she is just a weak control mage who can't snowball and powerspikes when she finished stacking her archeangle's ;-;

I7A6X2v22 votes

They could make it the 4th runes for sorcery

Modl Ryden l1 votes

I really think Comet looked and felt underwhelming. It was like the just took Xerath's ulti and made it applicable to everyone. Like I see it as reliable poke for people who already have reliable poke.

Then again I supposed DFT did the same more or less. It would be nice to see it back as a keystone somewhere or have Scorch have very a minimal ap/ad scale.

jocomotion1 votes

I’d like it to be made into a keystone of its own. Maybe the forth for Sorcery.

they werent even replacements really riot said they were "working on" a replacement in the domme tree for this and those were to just hold them off until then, and yet here we are. Its so dumb too dark Harvets gets to exist because an infinite scaling rune thats useable by 90% of champs is "diversifying" but straight putting DFT in game would "cause problems for the champs that use it best"

riots so bad they cant even logic. im done trying to be the dude giving them benefit of the doubt, this games going to shit and all they want is as much money as they can squeeze from the literal addicts that play.

they're a glorified candy crush with pretty outfits.

Rathar Dashing1 votes

I'd honestly prefer to go back to using Deathfire Touch on Jhin, instead of Dark Harvest, Hail of Blades, Comet or Fleet Footwork. All of those runes are instant (or near instant) gratification, which makes them feel more oppressive. When I took it on Jhin before, I could actually see the damage it was dealing every time I landed my Q or W, and loved that satisfying feeling of someone barely escaping my ult with 50 HP, only to die to the burn damage 2 seconds later.
