@Riot: Akali bans are through the roof, will Riot adress her?

Akali's ban rate is sky rocketing right now and for good reasons. Right now shes just under Rek'sai in ban rate who i believe IS receiving a nerf next patch, but will Riot address the other problem that is Akali? It's not hard to see why shes banned, her mobility, her kit her sticking power but overall her damage output is simply to high. She snowballs out of control and even if shut down she needs only a kill or two to bounce back. I personally feel she simply has to much of everything to her, I would like to see her toned down and apparently so would everyone else given her ban percentage. But so far there's been now real word from Riot at all.

Every single time I have watched one of the games which you can spectate via the client with an akali in it, they get completely shut down with constant early ganks, vision wards and then by mid/late game their damage is that negligible that they can't dive in team fights without suiciding, and they won't even get a kill most of the time.

Akali is fine.

Dude, you're high, go home. Yes, I've played Akali, her damage output only gets ridiculous when she gets fed. At lvl6 with no kills, you're going to burn two full combos just to kill someone from half health.

1 combo is already enough to drop you below half and you either have some pots or recall now cuz the next time her ult is up, you die

i dont see how she's op. She isn't tanky, cc sensitive, after her shroud is down, you can jump on her, she can't 1v5 a whole team, despite people claiming she can for no reason lol. list of counters from least to hard counters, although they are all hard counters. Fizz is the same way, as is Katarina to some extent. AP is cheap and you can buy huge amounts compared to AD champs. The largest AD item you can get is 80 AD while the largest AP item is 120 plus a 30% boost to your current AP. You can also get items that come with huge amounts of health and a significant amount of AP. So, you've got champs like Talon and Zed which need a huge number of items to do lots of damage whereas AP assassins only need a few items.

I think Akali needs to be turned into an AD champ that scales only on AD. Fizz's ratios need to be dialed back and his skills should cost more mana. That way he still has the same strong late game without him dominating early game as well.

Assassin's should have a strong late game, but a very weak early game. That way if they get ahead they are unstoppable, but getting ahead isn't a guarantee.
