Can we get some harder mages?

Most mages are pretty basic, which can be nice, but I would like to have more than just Azir for complex mages.

What rank are you and who would you consider "difficult"

I am not in elite ELO nor is my MMR amazing, I just play normals. I've avoided rank since season 1 I don't care for it, is it hard to accept I don't find him difficult to use?

Aha that's why. If you play ranked people would abuse his weaknesses. Since you play nothing but normals you would think he is easy. Again, who is a "difficult" champ to you?

I generally can't think of anything I find too difficulty todo besides 2 draven axes up at once in a fight while keeping them.

I try to play every character I own to be a little more well rounded, like I said before I don't play ranked and I don't have a master MMR.

Just answer my question. A lot of champs are difficult for 2 reasons

They have blatant counter play or have so many ways you can fuck up (azir, gnar, ect)
Are difficult until you figure out their playstyle (any champ that has a slightly original kit)

actually people have been feeling quite the opposite with all these new mechanics that have been coming out. but keep in mid 6+ mages are getting reworked so some skill intensive mechanics may emerge in the mid year, also meddler said that a mage is in development, considering GL considered jhin low(er) skill i expect high skill champs to come out for awhile

I feel the same about most champs in the game. Only a select few have a "difficult" play style. Most just take a certain mindset or a game or two to learn

I feel like there are probably more difficult mages than there are difficult champions of other classes. Fighters are almost all easy (Riven and Lee are cool, but who else is there really?), there are hardly any particularly mechanic-heavy supports, ADCs are largely easy as hell and I don't think I could name a single mechanically intensive tank (new Shen looks a bit trippy?).

Most mechanically difficult champions are either mages or assassins. For mages I'd list: Azir Cassiopeia Elise (including her as a mage feels a bit weird admittedly) Kassadin Leblanc (arguably an assassin) Orianna Ryze Syndra

Then you've got people like Yas and Zed as assassins and that's about it for that class - most assassins are straight-forward. There are a ton of simple mages but most of the people who come to mind when I think "hardest champions in the game" are mages - Azir, Ryze and Orianna in particular. What class would you say has more difficult champions?

EDIT: Unfortunate that I have the mage team builder icon right now lol. I promise it was the assassin one until yesterday, and even then my main role is support.
