Flex Queue and what's wrong with it.

Hello, I rarely post on the boards but here goes.

Last night I noticed flex queue was added to support 3s games. I was super excited and stoked about this! First off, thank you for doing this. Although, it was extremely, poorly implemented. When I was originally reading what flex queue would be it sounded like a queue that would be set up so that solo players could join in with parties of multiple people. I'm sure that's what pretty much anyone reading this right now is thinking, "uhh...that's exactly what it is." Except, it isn't, and this is EXTREMELY apparent in 3s flex. I continue to get into games where I get people going, "Wait this is ranked?" or games that start off with two people just screaming at each other in chat within the first few minutes of the game, and since I'm queuing up alone, this means that each of them must also be alone. So here's what you need to do riot, because it's obnoxious right now. I don't care how long the queues are, it will promote game health, make it so that solo players are guaranteed to get grouped into a duo party. I had a game just now where a teammate of mine was intentionally feeding and yeah, we all get that, been here since s2, I know, it's a thing. But what I haven't seen is when someone goes, "Who cares, it's 3s ranked, boo-hoo." Ranked is meant to be taken seriously, and as a solo player I look forward to being able to fill in what the two other people on my team can't do. But when those two people don't know each other it makes things difficult. I actually believe that if this gets switched to solo players getting queued with parties of at least two people, this will cut down dramatically on toxicity. Friends are less likely to scream at one another, and also less likely to scream at the random for fear of judgement from their other friend.

Again, thank you for Flex Queue, I know you'll improve it.

TLDR: Flex queue allows for an entire team of solo players, which defeats the purpose of the queue.

Hm. Interesting. (I'm not sure that you can 'solve' toxicity, but I can also see your point.) It might help. I haven't been playing much yet because I want to wait until I know what's up with all these changes.

I played a flex queue with bronze 4 and unranked for some reason. I am currently in d5 and it is unreasonable to have such a huge difference between players, Riot pls fix it. It makes the game very unpleasant.

when someone goes, "Who cares, it's 3s ranked, boo-hoo." Ranked is meant to be taken seriously,

Blame Riot for constantly down-playing non-SR modes. With the Champ Mastery restrctions, Riot apparently thinks ranked TT is less competitive than even blind pick normal SR.

also less likely to scream at the random for fear of judgement from their other friend.

It's equally likely that the other friend will join in against the solo though.
