Perma banned for one irritated game

Honestly, I'm just disappointed.

I'm disappointed that people can take actions inside a game to intentionally anger their teammates and those teammates are not allowed to say a single thing back OR ELSE. I'm also disappointed that I could have reported every person on my team but I let it go because at the end of the day, it's just a game and we all have bad days sometimes. I said some stuff, sure but permanently banned for one single game where I've played literally fucking THOUSANDS and been friendly, extremely friendly - it's just not right.

I've been here since season 2, and honestly, I just feel betrayed. Everyone is going to have a bad game once in a while, everyone is going to want to get annoyed because they're trying and their teammates come up and do something dumb. It's gonna happen. The last time I had a "bad day" was about six months ago, before that, 2 years, before that, never. I want a damn freebie every once in a while, or make the system automatically mute a player for a game when a chat log becomes a "toxic" log.

I can't vent in chat, why not? I mean honestly, why not just mute me with the mute button? I tried to the end. I just didn't want to group, I was playing garen, didn't really trust my teammates to team fight and I felt like splitting was my best option. I sure didn't sound like it in chat but I definitely tried my ass off to the end of that game, I was just angry as hell.

The idea behind the honor system is honestly just busted. I can sit there and be nice and friendly for a thousand games but if someone doesn't want to honor me for being nice and playing well or whatever then being nice doesn't mean shit to how "honorable" I am. It just looks at it and rates it as a zero because someone didn't select me.

At the very least can I be permanently muted instead? Is that not the problem? If i tried to the end of the game physically then is me typing not actually the problem?

I just really don't feel like this was just at all.

Nobody angered you except yourself. You are not the victim here. You were unable to control yourself - that's nobody's fault but your own.

You also didn't get punished for one game. You got punished for being toxic after multiple warnings in the form of your prior punishments.

Your chat is not the problem - your inability to control yourself is. If you couldn't chat, I can virtually guarantee (and this is supported by statistics) that you would resort to "soft trolling" as a form of being toxic in game - you'd spam ping others in the middle of fights, use emotes to express your toxic attitude, "accidentally" steal someone's jungle camp.. or other things. I can say this because, again, the problem is not your chat - the problem is your attitude and inability to control your emotions.

Keep in mind that even if only one game was displayed in your chat card, it is highly likely that is not the only recent game you were toxic in. The system records any valid report against you - but it may not necessarily display all of those games in your reform card (one big reason is if you play lots of games, the system will only display the most "memorable" game, i.e. the most recent). I suspect if you ask Riot Support they will confirm that you are toxic in not just one game per few months, but many of your games - even if many of those games aren't toxic enough to merit a punishment on their own. Again, this is an attitude problem you have - not a "once in a blue moon bad game". Players who have a bad game once in a blue moon do sometimes get punished - but they don't get permanently banned - they get a warning chat restriction and improve their behavior.

why do you have to use chat to vent? why cant you not chat and just vent out loud in your room?

Should just used mute button and disabled chat when you got 14 day ban, because you failed to use a simple mute, no sympathy at all.

That sucks man. If you make a new account, I'd recommend not using chat, and also not spending money.
