Vanishing in Brush While In Combat

If someone is in combat when they enter a brush, they should remain visible for at least 0.75 - 1 second. One of the single most frustrating things in LoL is when you're fighting someone or about to kill them, but your auto-attack/spell auto-cancels mid attack/cast because you lost vision. Brush should never cause an auto-win in a fight or a perfect escape route. If you attack from a brush, your stealth cancels because you entered combat, so why should you be able to instantly vanish when entering a bush while in combat? 0.75 - 1 second continued vision is not to much to ask for when an in-combat player enters a brush. It could even be limited to in-combat vs champions that way minions don't perma-follow.

Bush Hopping is outplaying. Its critical in top lane, and a lot of times bot.

Bad idea. This is basicly removing one option to outplay your enemies by using vision. If they make the conscious decision to enter a bush instead of fighting back or taking another route, it should have SOME benefit. In this particular case, vision blocking.

Auto attacks and spells do not cancel mid-animation just because someone ducks into a brush. I've seen many final blows land despite someone breaking vision once the animation has started. One particularly funny moment was when my adc took my Thresh lantern from mid river brush to jump over the wall, the enemy projectile followed them from river to jungle and killed them. It was sad but hilarious at the same time.

Also, wards are perfect for this situation.

auto attacks that are in animation are canceled. Auto attacks that have gone off will still land in the invisible bush.

Can someone show me this? I don't recall this ever happening to me or seeing this in person, and a quick search on YouTube hasn't yielded any results.

I just looked on youtube, dont seem to be any clear examples by name on there. Honestly I have no way to prove it other than my own personal gameplay. Champion ive noticed it the most with are of course long auto animation ones, like jhin, malzahar, brand so on so forth.

I'll have to dig a little harder when I have time, then. I'll test it myself some tonight as well, and if I come up with anything I'll update here.

It's during auto attack windup, not when the auto particle is in the air. Kinda like how you cancel your own auto attacks (I do this while csing a lot), but having it done forcibly. Unless we're talking about kalista, whose kit specifically makes her auto miss in mid-air if vision is lost.

It was about the wind-up auto-canceling.

Ah yes, I knew that, I was merely clarifying for this confused individual.

Anything with a cast time thats not finished that is targeted will stop. This includes AAs and certain spells that havnt completed that cast time. Most spells are a fraction of a second cast time though, so its not always noticeable, especially since most are skillshots.

You don't always have access to wards constantly.

It's part of the game.

It's part of the game.

Champions are part of the game, but they change all the time. Jungle monsters are part of the game, but they change all the time. Just because something is part of the game doesn't mean it can't be changed.

Its annoying and frustrating, but its intended. Largely because melee champions need this interaction to lane against ranged type champions, or youd end up seeing 3 ADCs + AP caster + support every game.
