am i the only one that thinks that "the hunt is on!" event is rather lackluster?

It is a rare event that ends with a showdown between kha and rengar, with the winner receiving a big bonus, but with the changes to these two, it doesn't really do anything for them, kha gets a 4th evolution, and assuming that the last one is w, then it's not worth it since evolved w is worthless, "wow, it's in a cone now...woo"(and the 10% extra slow).I'm not as familiar with rengar but I believe that his reward is also pretty meaningless when he gets to a certain amount of trophies,I think it's 20.I know this is small thing but I always liked this event but now the only thing to take from it is bragging rights, there's not any...tension between these two hunters, maybe one day rito will do something about this, either make some changes to these two so that the rewards are more impactful to them and the game, or change the rewards for them.

Did you really call Kha's W worthless?

Was the nerf that bad?

You think Evolved W is worthless? It's what most Kha players evolve first or second, because it reveals enemies hit and allows you more potent poke and faster clear speeds (Three spikes hitting jungle camps instead of one).

Most Khas who win the event will gain Evolved R, Active Camouflage, which is a very big boon. Not a massive boon, but a very big one. It makes his dueling and teamfighting much more potent.

As for Rengar, yes, the reward is lackluster. Head of Kha'Zix replaces his Bonetooth Necklace, and acts as a Bonetooth with fully stacked trophies. If you're behind on your trophies, it's a great way to get ahead, but most games will be lost if a Rengar is that far behind. It does grant another passive where his vision in bushes is increased, but with the way bushes are, surrounded by walls and such, it doesn't help a lot. That part is lackluster, but there's something... satisfying about having your enemy's head in your inventory.

Yes,because I'll normally evolve q or e first then the other second, as these two are more useful to me for ganking lanes,as by level 11/mid game, this may be my own inexperience talking but I put clear times that w would give to the backseat and focus on objectives, plus I don't poke with kha,I'm normally trying to flank and get in position to do my job and assassinate my target then gtfo and help my team, I'll leave the poking to the ones with reliable poke

Evolving Q first is worthless. It's always a choice between W or E. E if you need to gank more, W if you need to farm more. Then you evolve whatever you didn't evolve first, second.

The reason being is that it makes Void Spikes much more reliable. If you miss with the middle spike, and they're running. You'll probably hit with one of the side spikes. Then, it reveals enemies. In a game where vision is king, this is VERY useful. You can check bushes without facechecking or needing to get close enough to ward. You can check and see if objectives are being taken, of if they're being bated. You can see wherever someone is running when they flee from you.

Then evolve Q last for the increased range and isolated damage (But enemies don't get isolated much often, at all, at any point during the game, so it's really just for the range).

The hunt is on used to be way cooler than now, because bone tooth used to be a stackable damage item, and a four point Kha'zix was really strong. As the different champions have been reworked/retuned over and over again, the things that made "the Hunt is on!" really cool have disappeared. Rengar's item no longer relies on getting this to stay max stacks on his bone tooth, and Kha'zix has very easily discernible best abilities to upgrade (you almost never feel like "oh, I wish I had that last evolve point" in most games).

why would you a gamebreaking "fun event" to pop up in a competitive environment. This is like an achievement on xbox....
