What if ashes passive only procced on champions.

It would only crit on champions. But it also wouldn't stop building if you attack minions.

That would be really OP. What if Caitlyn's passive only procked on champions?

Or maybe Ashe players shouldn't waste the passive on minions?

It's not just the support's job to poke the enemy, you know. When you can't last hit a minion, you can take a quick break and just autoattack the enemy for a decent amount of damage.

Do you not understand that ashe can't crit people at all without losing large portions of farm?

Ashe support is real because of this.

I like that idea, however they would probably need to put a cap at like 50% chance

Caitlyn players would demand the same and Caitlyn would never lose lane.

Wouldnt that make Cait arguably worse since she would need to land 8/7/6 autoattacks on a champion before her passive activated?

Yes on the first, no on the second. The timer would still need to stop if you attacked a minion, but the crit would only trigger on a champ. This stops it from making Cait's passive worthless, while also making Ashe's passive a lot more effective

She has to attack minions all the time. She can't be losing cs just to crit people, especially early game. So early on, she can rarely even use it on champions. And then with hitting minions all the time, she doesn't even build it up that often in lane.

I like this idea but I think that it makes her too strong. An extra double damage hit on an enemy champion every here and there is going to add up. She'd actually be pretty strong in lane and if she gets ahead, the other team could be so screwed with her ability to slow meaning that they can't get close enough to cs or she's just kill them before they could get away, especially since she'd have her passive up again.
