REVIVE. WILL IT COME BACK?

Just an old gamer who's been playing league since end of season 1. I know this is an old topic but the more i played the game, the more i got frustrated with the game so I submit this question. Why was revive removed? I can understand that some flow of the game and the meta has never been favorable with revive but isn't diversity something that riot used to believe in? Now the game is all about flash+ x and made the game extremely dull and the x factor that used to be fun and also led the game to victory is completely removed. Now the game is just one way street game with given guidelines with no x-factors. Revive has never really been damaging to the professional scene nor something complained about by the masses. So declaring it expired and removing it seems a bit too haste of a decision. (If anything, CLAIRVOYANCE is still there!! and we have blue trinkets. )

If it was regarding the trolls, trolls will troll regardless of existence of revive and they will always exist. Just as a gamer who really enjoyed revive+tp spell and experiencing the game becoming extremely dull, I thought i'd try to hear some reasons.
