How to fix LP gain?

Hey guys, diamond trash here.

Ive been doing fairly well earlier this season and I just kinda got crumbled by some of notorious ex-pros and I had this huge tilt this one day. (lost 14 in a row in 1 single day).

After just playing it out and getting rid of the tilt, I've been trying to climb up but I dont know why but my LP loss&gain has been complete shit since then.(My winning ratio was still around 55% at the time)

For last few months, No matter what kind of winning streak I get, I've been gaining about 1x lp and losing roughly 2x~3x lp.

Knowing this, I just can't motivate myself to win or even get myself to play good because if i gain 1x something and lose 2x something, that means i have to win 75% of the games I play to actually gain and make up for a loss. That sounds depressing as fk.

I know when I hit that huge losing streak, I dropped from like... D2or D3 to right down to d5. And to just play out the tilt, I probably had about 50% win/loss or something.

Nowadays, I just kinda took it up my ass and have been just taking it easy and not even trying and my winning ratio is down to 52%

But, the more i think about it, the more frustrated I get. How do I even make up for this lp?

I won like 9 out of 10 games earlier this week and finally got to promo(again, that 1 loss took a lot to make up for.) tonight but, unfortunately I failed it and my lp is down to 42LP !!! **WITH 2 LOSS I'M DOWN AT 42 LP FROM 100. **

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! WHAT DO I DO??? IS THIS EVEN RIGHT?

I might as well move on to another acc right? I already have another plat 2 acc that I can work on(just didn't because I only own like 20 champs on that acc).

Happened to me last season when I was almost Gold 4. Went on losing streak, same as your situation happened. I ended up stopping playing ranked. This season I was placed in Bronze 1. Had to re-climb all the way.

My question is what is the goal for your account? Diamond is pretty high imo, so unless you want to go higher you might as well stay with your current one. I was under the impression that losses are really crippling the higher up you go so unless you get lucky, I don't think you will get to a higher tier. Besides, there's no saying this won't happen with your smurf account as well, since you have good odds of running into those people again and having a bad loss streak as well, which I feel would be more depressing then just staying with what you have and having the smurf as your back up. If you somehow decay into plat, though, then abandon ship and go to smurf. I really doubt you will, but if that somehow happens, RIP The Mayhem.

Well, you need to win 80% of your games if you want to get out of the lp clamp fast.. that's how I did it.

It is redundant to make a new account.. You need to even out your MMR. Unless your MMR on your P2 account is higher than your D5 account, you will not notice a difference...
