@Riot Understanding how a new champion affects the state of balance

For the first month after a new champion has been released, why not have a mandatory 1 game-play free of purchase by every player that logs in. Between varying degrees of mechanical skill, clarity of an abilities use and scaling, etc etc ... wouldn't an idea to this effect help lessen the disparity between anecdotal and empirical evidence given a vastly increased data set ?

english plz? if you are referring to new champs in rank first day.. i want this to be gone... make them get mastery 3 or 4 so they allowed to rank

These figures are made up 10 Million players 1 Million play Camille and average ~50% WR 9 Million have never played her.

Camille's kit, effectiveness and win rate are excessively skewed by lack of unique games played in this model. That does not include other metrics considered that are more specific to Rank, Region and technical aspects like ping. Many of the games that are used to factor in the WR are by players who have between 10-100 games.

You can't tell if a champion is good or shit unless you take them in a competitive environment and see a winrate.

I really see no difference between first picking a new champion, and first timing an old one. You might as well just restrict players from using anything until they're mastery 3. At that point you take away champion diversity for players since chances are they can only play 2 things per role.

I'd rather have a first time ivern than a mastery 7 blitzcrank who invades in my ranked games. Getting level 3 or 4 in norms doesn't make you good in ranked where people actually know how your champ works.

but at least u know for sure he knows the mechanics behind the champ vs guy going "o this is how it works" basically they some decent clue of what is up with the champ

Do you really think level 3 is "knowing the mechanics" of a champion?

Cause if you need to be level 3 to learn a champion, I have a lot of level 7 luxes to report.

The ammount of times I've witnessed first timers do better than level 7s is astonishing.

New champions are always put in the free-to-play rotation after the first month of being released. Camille has been free-to-play for the past week.
