Runes and Rune Efficiency

Understanding that Riot plans to implement an overhaul of the Rune system in the near future, I was wondering if there is an up-to-date spreadsheet of the current Runes and their respective levels of efficiency.

Also, as a secondary request.. has Riot announced what the new Runes will be?

I ask since there has been changes to the Mastery system do the Runes retain the previous levels of efficiency or have they gone up or down?

Any help would be appreciated.

Runes are still heavily work in progress, but from what i could gather of the last couple blog posts and dev blogs regarding the topic the new runes are going to be very precise in what they do - sort of like keystone masteries right now. So it will be less "General stat boost of all-round defenses and a damage spike" and more "I will focus my entire rune page on playing around Ashe's W spell".

Off-topic: Are you one of the rare few that only plays coop vs ai? That's pretty cool.

No hate... but is it?

And now on topic : this and this links are, afaik, the only ones with the new runes.

There are a few reasons that I have been playing AI 5s this year, more than ever before that's for sure.

  1. Even though the game connectivity is more stable than the past few years, I still experience random latency spikes from a base of 55ms all the way up to 250ms on a fairly regular basis.
  2. A lot of people still can't coordinate their lane assignments and you have 2 mid and 3 bot and similar childish crap, or playing ADC 2v1.
  3. I tend to get 15-25 hours of sleep each week and playing Normal 5s I find myself irritable with things and would prefer not to rage at people.
  4. I have 5 dogs and care for my grandmother so there are times where I absolutely have to step away and AI games allows for some leniency.

I wish more people were like you when they have real life issues that may interfere with the game. This way you get the most enjoyment out of the game without any risk of ruining the experience for other people.

They haven't announced most runes, and the ones they have are subject to change.

A lot of the new runes aren't raw stats, and instead more unique things that are harder to quantify the efficiency of.

I had a feeling that was the direction that they were going to take. My only question going forward would be to ask how do they plan to address champions that almost require 3 Attack Speed quints to be remotely viable. Are they overhauling champions base- or scaling stats to compensate?

They've expressed that they're going to do a pass on the base stats of most champions to ensure everyone still works ok. It's a preseason thing, where things are always crazy and they'll be watching closely and giving champs buffs (or nerfs) where needed based on how things shake out.

That said, there will still be some stat influencing runes, so people will probably be able to give themselves a bit extra raw AS if they feel they need it (while others might prefer slightly more AD or maybe some CDR or ???, depending on the options). I'm pretty sure they're keen to ensure that no champion has to take certain runes though, so the updated base stats for most champs should still feel viable.

The haven't shown us really any of the lesser runes. Stat changes like the current runes are probably in the lesser ones. One that was shown is +10 armor or mr immediately and then 3 for each nearby enemy or 10 armor and mr after 10 minutes and 5 of each for each nearby enemy.
