Smurfing should NOT be allowed

What the title says.

I constantly encounter smurfers It makes my blood BOIL to play against someone who isnt even supposed to play against lower players.

You smurfers are ruining the fun of other players! And you are making people lose the gamemode which requires skill to advance! Your team is just lucky and that is not good!

Like, bro, its okay to have freedom and look for fun, but look for it elsewhere. I hope you stub your toe and get ligma

The more downvotes this gets the more right i am.

This is not a rant, its honesty. [darius-angry]

The question is, how would riot be able to stop smurfing?

What they really need is a better system for detecting players that are not playing to win. Because smurfs will move out of ELOs they can stomp in pretty rapiddly unless they are intentionally dropping games. Then if their intentional losses could be picked up, they would be banned or they would have to climb to where they belong and get another smurf just like if they were banned.

Its flat out cheating and it is THE #1 reason Lower ELO is so hard to Match Make.

Smurfs boost trash to higher ranks and Hurt those that are climbing because if you are someone who is climbing Riot will NOT put the smurf on your team and so you lose.

THEN the boosted trash get into higher ELO games and feed making those who again are climbing lose because riots "System" was trying to balance out the teams by putting the trash on the good players team.

Smurfing LITERALLY breaks the system

There's nothing in the rules that says someone can't create and play on a new account. FYI it's not like all of these people are thinking "ya im gonna go smurf on some low level nubs", some get their accounts banned and have to make a new one, some get hardstuck and want a better ranked career, and some like me just want to take advantage of the recent events on another account

That's like saying: bullying should not be allowed.

If you expect fair-play and sportsmanship from a game - then League of Bullies is not for you.

Smurfing isn't the problem, its a failure of the matchmaker to adequately judge a player's skill, therefore its ability to make good games is kind of shitty actually.

The only thing I could see stopping smurfing is if people suddenly stopped looking for easy wins, and / or we have a massive cultural shift in which making people upset / miserable is no longer funny / entertaining, and largely seen as a shitty thing to do.

Neither of those things are going to happen though, so prepare to meet smurfs, and prepare for others to find amusement in your suffering.

Geez I bet I'm oldest smurfy here. It's extremely hilarious when I'm facing other smurfs that they say they are plat or dia higher I'm like okay lad lol. Lets see them win in the end Very rare we see them win since yea we got a new player with us that went 0-25 asEzreal. Sure this player got extremely fed and snowball withDiana, but once i see their stats 2.50 k/d or lower they are thinking they are good.

AS an real smurf is indicated base on the k/d ratio which will eventually even out. I'm siting around 4.00 and 5.00 k/d which is plat/dia estimates. So like my other accounts they were roughly 4.00k/d before i decide to thrown in the towels.

Why not? Why shouldn't people be able to play on another account? That's what smurfing is: playing on another account. If you ban smurfing, you're banning multiple accounts simply because that player is good. In response to banning smurfing, you'll have to make them immune to perma bans.
