Didn't riot themselves said that true damage on an assassin isn't healthy?

Few months back someone asked why kha zix doesn't have true damage. Meddler himself said that its not healthy for assassins to have true damage.

Vayne's a marksman, not an assassin. Whole point of ADC's is to kill tanks so it makes sense that she has true damage.

lets just give every other ad carry true damage. a stun/disengage. the best chasing ability in the game. 2 second cd dashes. stealth ult. free 70 ad because why not. so they can kill tanks too.

vayne was advertised as an assassin when she came out

Kog has always been more effective against soft targets due to his magic damage. Hell, his Q used to apply flat resist shred. Helped him duel soft targets getting up in his face.

Eeeeeeh not sure if I buy it.

She's got some pretty massive mobility for a Diver, on par with Vi and Jman. They're all able to get out of a fight again after going in. Now, I'm not saying that these three are strictly Assassins, but of all the Divers they're probably skirting the line most closely.

but her passive and ult make her an assassin anyway. her ult gives her 70 ad. who cares if she loses 20% ad ratio on her Q. it will still do over 1k damage to a squishy. 3 autos am dead. and zero counterplay stealth. keep the damn 0.5 second stealth nerf. pink wards do not exist anymore.
