I understand jungle tanks are in a bad place...
But what about lane tanks?
Was gonna go and list the champs suffering but i think ill just pull a riot and sweep it under the rug.

Their clear times are garbage. Whether it's in the jungle or in lane, they simply can't clear as fast as other champs can. If Riot fixed this, they might actually be viable.
Meanwhile my 70% winrate on Naut. They feel kinda weak, yeah, but tanks have always been a farm/gank to grouping phase. I think people expect champs like Sej or Naut to boast the early game of "tanks" like j4 and vi.
