Ranked mode for otps?

Look, normies hate us, riot just give us a mode where we literally select our champion, it spits us out in whatever position it feels like, and our rank is determined by our champion.. if you can't handle soraka jg then you're not a real soraka otp and you should just go to normie ranked anyways as far as i can tell

and if you have under 500k mastery on a champ you can't play the mode (Because you're not a real OTP before you hit half a mil)

Look and if you normies hate the idea, think of it this way: No more yasuo 1trick m7s in your midlane going 0/40 by three minutes

no more riven mains in top lane

no more pricks ruining your team comps :D

Lol that would be pretty funny. Queue up and rank as a champion.

You and your teammates figure out what roles fit best within a role select instead of champ select.

I don't even really want a pre game lobby, just get in the game with an assigned role

Well I mean... there wouldnt be much of a way for people to stick to those roles/assign runes/ change spells that way

Players would have to get less/no LP if they roleswapped (not counting games where an ally is AFK) in order to preserve the spirit of the mode, but other than that, this is 100% 👌

One Trick Ponies huh?

Two questions: If it's a Rank Mode, how can you be a OTP on let's say Blitz, with another OTP Blitz on the enemy team? Pick order or dodge? Or would we be able to have a second or third pick? That would kill the otp name and mode.

There could be mirror matches but since you lock in with your champ it would be up to riot's design team

I mean if it wasn't something that could be premade, i don't see an issue with the 1 in a billion chance of 5 blitzcranks vs 5 blitzcranks if they're all 500k+mastery blitzcrank players
