Can We Have a "Not X-Role" Option Along With "Fill" For The NEW Champ Select!?

I'm not too sure how I feel about this new champ select. I would like to see an option for the Role You Don't Want.

For example I main top, I am an awful ADC and I let that be known if I'm bottom pick. But I can't really say what my best 2nd role is. Many champions I play top can go mid but I rarely go mid since mid is normally more popular then top so I could be rusty.

Then there is jungle and support. I only trust myself on one champion for each role, Support Alistar, and Jungle Hecarim. While I like supporting quite a lot I can't say I'm jumping up and down for joy when I get the role, I mean it's still support, I'm not some Thresh main who can make sick plays.

As for Jungle at the plat level I'm really not so sure how good I am and if I do well I feel like I'm just lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I don't think I understand pathing as much as a jungle main. Also while I am confident at jungle.....I freakin hate jungling. It's such a mentaly taxing role. As a top laner being on an island I consider ganks a luxury so if I get them great! If not I handle things w/o them. So the minute someone pings for a gank or even ask politely I lose my freakin mind. Never mind the regular whiners that insist you gank for them.

So overall.....as long as I'm not ADC I really don't care. But I can't just say "Top" + "Fill" isn't an option for me. I would like an option that says "Not + X Role"

Now everyone Silver and below will probably say "Not Support" So I think this option should only be unlocked at Gold and above. I feel that is when people have their clear main roles established and more refined while their skills in other roles begin to wane. I mean for the most part I stopped seeing "I'm Not Fucking Supporting!" at Gold and Plat and many people are more then willing to do so.

If you don't want to live up to the meaning of "Fill" why not just pick your main role and whatever one you feel most like playing at that time as your secondary?

Because I don't know what my secondary should be lol. I feel like I'm even on all three other roles besides ADC. I'd rather just say "Not ADC" as my secondary.

It doesn't have to be a specific, concrete secondary role. If you feel more on the jungler side of things that day just pick jungle, or if you're in the mood for bursting people down pick mid. Pick whatever lane best matches the top laner you feel like playing at the time.

I think my real problem is I like being versatile in champ select. If someone takes top np, I can mid, support or jungle. I love being able to round out the comp with a champion that is suited for the role and good in our team as well as against the enemy team.

Being bottle necked into only 2 roles kind of urks me.

Well, you could just do the easiest option then.

Tried it. Every time I refine my ADC I never actually play ADC so the skills wane again. TBH I can't stand the role period. The fact that you need a babysitter for the first 10-15 minutes of the game is lame and I would always rather support if I had to go bot.

It takes even less time to place someone into all five roles, which is why the fill option is there.

The limit is there to lower the amount of team communication needed to get a good, team game started. That's a definite reason to have a small limit on it.

Makes sense I guess but if you choose over 3 roles you shouldn't get mad if at anyone of those you choose.

The limit does nothing to improve team communication. A player queuing up for 3 roles does a better job of communicating to the team which roles he is good at than queuing for fill.

I also feel like this hinders players who are very potent in multiple roles. Because their flexible they can fill most roles with the proper champion for the situation. I've won many games at champ select because of this.

He didn't say what your second best role was, he said what ever other role you felt like playing at the moment. I main ADC and Mid, but sometimes I like to play top, but only as kinda off thing (because I'm not the best at it). So for me, I would probably put ADC or Mid as a primary, but then fill in top just in case my team needs it (although that would be when I want to play top)
