Why the Hell is IEM Being Played on 5.21!?
I don't even want to watch anymore, this event seems totally pointless now. I wanted to see how pros would adapt to the massive wave of changes. If they play on 5.21 there pretty much playing Season 5.

Because 5.21 is stable patch, and 5.22 is highly tentative, therefore it wont be fun to play or watch highly broken game mechanics.
tl;dr - 5.22 is borken.
Because IEM hardly matter as a tournament. From the get go, its preseason patch, team are voted based on popularity rather then qualifying, some teams recently got team overhauls/player swaps, etc. Also its about the only time any non-riot official tournament can take place any big name teams, since everyone's regional last about all year long.
It will still be entertaining, just not much valuable in a competitive point of view.
Because Riot cares more about their pros than their customers
5.22 is not balanced. Not that it is supposed to be balanced, given that preseason is designed to be a testing ground. You shouldn't play a tournament on a patch where exploits can be used.
So NA has no excuses for going 0-4 tonight?
Because 5.22 is fucking retarded.
Still disappointing, though, wanted to see how they'd do with the massive changes to the game.

They could have just disabled Yasuo and Trynda%%%.
They're too scared of this comp:
Jungle Mundo, Toplane Graves, Mid Diana, Botlane Miss Fortune/Thresh, of course.
5.22 is too buggy to play on, almost no aoe items work, balance is shit, and they aren't even beginning to think about unfucking the game up, they're just pressing skin bundles and illaoi
Then wait till All Stars.A Rioter told me that All Stars will be played on one of the Pre-seasson patches (I'm assuming 5.23).
Also think of it this way,we be able to see if
is a viable pick in the competitive games or not.
I agree. They should have at least waited a week or two and had them play on the pre-season patch.
5.22 is not fun to play, why would you think it'd be fun to watch?
Why isn't IEM being broadcasted by Riot and not promoting it?
Because Preseason is a highly experimental time of year where balance is thrown off the rails in preparation of forming a solid foundation for the upcoming competitive season? Be serious, with all the changes to be sifted through, the game is far from being in a stable enough state of affairs to host competitions around. There are too many cogs to be dealt with, too many strong champions and overtuned items and masteries. If competition is meant to compare the skill of opponents, then an experimental balance state like this is far from ideal as a competitive environment.
why would you even want the game to be played on 5.22, it's such a pile of dogshit.
where are the result ?
Where can we watch the tournament? When do the finals start?
I eventually found it. http://watch.na.lolesports.com/en_US#/livestream
Why isn't this event being promoted at all by Riot?
because riot shows favortism to it's Esports.
yeah 5.22 would be 15 mins game stomps lol
Because... Kindred? IDK really.
there THERE THERE?????????!
IT'S FUCKING "THEY'RE"
