Need a new Support for Solo Q

I'm a support main, I had to stop playing for a long time and now I'm back trying to break out of silver. Since supports really can't carry I need a support that is capable of helping even he dumbest of ADC's. I currently play Braum Sona Soraka and sometimes Leona but it's rear for a silver level team to know what to do with a Leo. I need something I can use to climb into gold. I was thinking Nautilus or Zyra . I know Ziggs bot is a thing? but I don't know if that is as a carry or a kill lane sup. Once again, been out of the loop for a bit.

Also is Yorick a thing now? I haven't seen him in a game yet and don't know what role he can fill. I'm guessing JG / Top

Sona is a pretty good choice since you can go aggro or defensive on her. I prefer going thunderlords on her with AP quints/glyphs and maxing Q to play aggressive. Obviously, vs some supports/lanes you can't do that, but in most you can. Then you have the option of building AP or tanky/support. I prefer the tanky/support but have been itching to play her full AP. And ziggs is an ADC thing. I think it just got nerfed though.

Galio and Teemo. (Idc what anyone says)

Teemo:

*14 second cd mushrooms that give vision and slows.

*Teemo prevents damage with a blind. Also annoys enemy because it can prevent a minion kill.

*Enemy team is too scared to gank bot at level 6+.

*Can get kills with hybrid support/mage.

*His E does well with item 3098

Galio:

*Galio's W gives 90 armor and 90 magic resist. It also heals him when the 'shield' is damaged no matter who it is placed on.

*Galio's E makes an escape path and he has a slow.

*Galio forces enemy to attack him with his ult while giving 50% damage reduction. He can also W himself during ult.

*He says "You should come back with more bad guys" when pressing Ctrl + 2.
