Yea he's a real player, just like you. He's apart of your team and he can help you win games. The next time you get destroyed in a game consider how many times you visited that lonely island of the top lane.

It doesn't matter what your role is, if you lost your lane don't just sit around farming.. be proactive. Often times your Top lane teammate is even or ahead of his opponent however is unable to take the tower safely. You don't have to be the Jungler to give him a hand. 90% of the time your Top laner is an enabler -- a FARMED "support" who deals damage, can tank, and can peel for the squishes on your team better than your real support.

Don't wait around for the enemy to goon squad his lane.. TAKE INITIATIVE after other lanes have already lost. Maybe he's terrible and you'll lose anyways.. But it's better than standing around farming your lane while the enemy runs around destroying the rest of your lanes.

Remember, when all else has failed is when your Top laner will shine. He / She is the redemption your team needs to get back into the game.

YOU have to be there to unlock the door. If all lanes are lost don't force your Top laner to come to you. If your Top laner has to come to you, then you're just giving the other team even more free gold because they will take his tower(s) while he is roaming which will cancel out any gains he / she might be able to obtain for you.
