Absolute GARBAGE Matchmaking At It Once Again

What the hell is this? An unranked player with no ranked games played, two players with 30% win rates, one player with less than 45% win rate.. against AN ENTIRE TEAM of players who are near or above 50% win rates. This is just so bad. Oh and you should know, I played that game and I can fully tell you a million reasons that Vayne and Leona definitely SHOULD NOT have been matched into that game. They got completely shit on, I bet that game was not even fun for them. How can you do this to people?

It's literally such a simple concept, how could you overlook it? People who are losing games constantly should be facing each other, not queued against an entire team of players who are going to destroy them. This is exactly why players tilt and start raging, and begin saying all kinds of things they shouldn't be saying. Please stop fucking people over and give them fair matchmaking.

Those players under 50% win rates should be facing other players under 50% win rates. When you lose in a wrestling tournament, you get tossed into the losers bracket... If you have a losing track record in ranked, it should be no different. Once they work their way back over a 50% win rate, put them back in the normal matchmaking with other players who are winning games. It's simply not fair to make one poor guy pull his hair out and get driven mad trying to win a TEAM GAME with a bunch of players who have no clue what it takes to win.

The "unranked" player was Plat in Season 4 and Gold in both 5/6 so to consider him an unranked player with no games is kind of dishonest. Not to mention he did fairly well statistically and was only about 600 damage from being the highest in the game. Complaining about your 30% winrate teammates is also pretty weak considering they've both played less than 30 games total.

If you're looking to complain about the matchmaking, you didn't use a very good example.

It's not dishonest in the least, it is a correct and accurate statement. Just because he was ranked high before does not mean he is still able to keep playing at that level.

Also even considering we ignore him, as is he not rated by the system yet, that still leaves 3 players with sub par win rates against an entire team with mild to decent ones. It doesn't change much. Also "they've only played 30 games total"... I haven't played many games either myself, that doesn't account for anything statistically. It doesn't matter if you've played 30 games or 3000 games, a 38% win rate is a 38% win rate.

If he played decently enough to outperform the opposing midlaner (he did almost twice the other guys damage while dying 10 times less), then how is it of any relevance?

A 38% winrate with 21 games is not even remotely comparable to one with 3k games. Thats just silly. With so few games played, 6 losses is the difference between 38% and 50%.

Win and Loss rate mean nothing, it is all MMR.

I'd rather go off of MMR than winrate lol.

That match making created a 44 minute game that ended 47-46, the losing team having got a baron and more drags.

Great matchmaking in this example honestly lol

I agree. Riot is so worried about "toxic" players but doesn't feel the need to address what causes that toxicity. Frustration. Frustration from their hot garbage dumpster fire matchmaking.
