Let me ask why a team of unranked and pre-level 30 players is facing a high ELO (plat 2) player? This is supposed to be enjoyable? This is completely unacceptable and should NEVER be allowed to happen. A player with FULL RUNES AND MASTERIES and high tier at that should NOT EVER be in the same queue as a bunch of new accounts. This is simply atrocious and disgusting.

^this i have games when i have people as high as play 1 all the way to gold 5, it just doesnt make sense

RyanTheRat2 votesThe plat was grouped with a sub-30 player, and match making tried to balance it with higher level (still sub-30) opponents or by finding another 30 and sub-30 group to play against. I do this with my friend that is still learning so there's a CHANCE of fair gameplay (instead of smurfing). Shame on the plat if he was trying too hard and making the game unfun; there's really not many options that match making has if 30's can play with sub-30's.

You should have runes and masteries (those are lvl so hope masteries at least) and if you don't its kinda on you for the disadvantage before going into ranked

ZephyrDrake1 votespretty sure you can pair up with anyone regardless of their rank in normal so yeah, you will see unbalanced matches like these every once in a while since it's high elo people teaching low elo players (or even new players) how to play... or those who just want to play with their friends that are not good enough to climb ranked

unfortunately there isn't a way to work around it, Riot can not say "oh your friend is 2000 mmr higher than you and you are unranked, you guys can't play a normal together". They simply can't control the experienced players to not play with beginners because they have the right to play with whoever they want in normals.
Except there is a possibility the high elo guy is "boosting" the beginner.(although not directly playing their account, still count as a form a boosting) But it's a normal, Riot can't stop them from doing it nor punish them for it.
